A vocal masterpiece on a Beethoven classical masterpiece ! Faouzia was able to intertwine her lyrical composition and give this classic a fresh and wonderful interpretation ! Even though the piano started with the Beethoven piece it quickly became Faouzia's own song ! She is truly an artistic and vocally dynamic singer ! She was able to vocally mimic the piano and cello throughout the song with her melodic and seamless register transitions she delivered a truly magnificent performance ! I agree Hege that Faouzia is so underated and unknown but I'm so impressed that she is an artist first and stays true to herself ! I personally think she is one of the best singer songwriters today and I can't wait to see her live in concert in the near future ! Thank you again. Hi Hege! Feels like forever since I’ve seem one of your commentary videos! Welcome back, right? This song title seemed familiar but partway into Faouzia’s lush version, I think I’m listening to maybe a different song? The one I know of is a piano instrumental of the Beethoven version Fur (with 2 dots above the u) Elise. So far I’m not hearing that famous melody. Same song or not? Moving on though, this song is gorgeous as she performs and interprets it! Her range! Her tone! I can see how much YOU are loving this one too❣️🙂

Faouzia borrowed 9 notes from the Beethoven classic to set up the lyrical story, while also providing the musical spine to wrap the rest of the melody around. An extremely musical way to do it, if you ask me.
