Tried having this running as background music during a DnD session. Ended up having it as the accompaniment for a sea burial after a nasty fight killed a lot of the sailors we were travelling with. One of our friends sung a sailors farewell as my character managed to catch a glimpse of a ghost ship aside ours that the spirits of the dead sailors climbed onto to depart to the next life. This music really helped that moment hit home, so thanks for that.

We'd been lost from Finland, our single ship. We wanted to know what the Swedes and Nords knew. We were lucky on trading along the way, and were strong even as we viewed the great island of Arthur. We knew not how to speak as the Gauls, so we stuck north. As the food ran low, we managed to sight a decent place to beach. Nobody greeted us. Deserted it seemed. A dozen boats in drydock. At least 50 edifices... homes. We had coin and else to trade... but there was nobody. Where were they? As captian, I determined there was no choice, and ordered a search for anything useful. Night fell as we had our single meal of the day. We ate found leathery dried fish we found... and our last bread. Then... eerie sounds. Etheral howles. We circled round the fire, and one cried "the cursed dead come for us!" As they surrounded us, our axes ready, another sight stiffened our backs. Ghosts came, slaughtering the unlivng horde. Who can say how or why? Whatever happened here, years ago? The unliving now honored that title... and a single geist, pointed to a wall on the hill. The next day we followed it on up. There were may slaughtered at a temple of tall rocks in a circle. We found a half dug hole at this battle site, and felt we should dig further. What we found ensured our survival. We crossed the great water to a beautiful place, the medicine or magic of our finds taking us there and back... I keep a gilded hammer, now, in my home. It will go to my lineage. I slew the Naga and many pirates with it. It will protect us from the Bear of Endless Winter. I'm sure of it.

Hey man, don't mean to be an ass, but do away with this writer's block nonsense. It does not exist. I have experienced what you call writer's block, and I can tell you there is only one cure I know of: discipline. Write every day, a certain amount of times or up to a certain word count. Do it diligently and without fail, and do not despair if you felt your writing that day was uninspired, you can rewrite it some other time, but for the love of god don't let this "writer's block" stall your work. Inspiration is an uncertain gift, we cannot count to have it every day, so we must plan ahead and push through uninspired moments, and know to make the most out of our inspired moments. Wish you the best of luck, fellow aspiring writer

I think I found an "easter egg" middle of the beach, there is a grass covered rock (to the left of a pyramid shaped rock and some huts) I first noticed what looks like a fish tail to the left of the rock (makes contact with the water). Then, on the surface of the rock, if you use your imagination you can make out the outline of a woman sitting, looking down and to the right. Considering this is a fantasy world, it would be a nice touch if that " fish tail" rock moved a bit, every now and then.

We ate leathery dried fish we found... and our last bread. Then... eerie sounds.

I just discovered this playlist today, and I have to say, it has made my long awaited DnD campaign fucking awesome. We havent played in several months, and this music hits just right. Weve been stuck sailing the ocean for weeks, weve been attacked by a rolling black and green sentient fog that dropped a slew of undead on our boat. After a hard fought battle, we lost lots of good sailors, and nearly lost one of our strongest party members. After sending off the sailors with an ocean burial, one man on a personal mission chased the fog in his dinghy, after a brief farewell. I dont know if you have any idea how perfect this music is. Thank you Blue Turtle. You have my love, and my support.

The respite had been welcome. Even on the days when the surf rose to the cliff edges, the wind howling like a spectral zephyr over the roofs, the village had been a softness at the edge of a weary mind. It beckoned pleasant dreamy days and offered true rest. Knowing it may be the last such peace, she looked over her shoulder and took in the ships, the streets, the rocking cradle of waves in the bay from the the hill the rose up and away toward the seemingly endless plains beyond, the first hints of crags and peaks just shadows on the horizon. So be it. She would hold this place in her heart for as long as she could, thankful for the last seven days. As the cold closed in, she would shield it, like an ember waiting for a nest of kindling to settle into and blaze to sleep.
