George and lord muck I have a question is modern electrical engineering in tractors gone to far and taken the skill of the driver away

Ohhh it's nice to see a good tyre man fitting the tyres.... god there some boys at it you just have to walk away..... like the old mb tracs used to drive a 1500 back in the day...

Nice one, a contractor i worked for had a nice fleet of Ford tractors he had a TW-10 and a 20, and the 8100, the good old days..

Deary me all these farmers blocking the roads typical then they say their always busy 😉 great to see so many there both old and new. Brings back memories of the old Saturday run out of the steam engines and vintage tractors from the local steam rally when there was one where they'd go round the block to the local pub. Still remember the time one started early and drove his steam engine off the road and in the stream.

Love seeing new tyres on a tractor.Great work by those lads who organised the run .

Have a safe and happy new year. You had a great turn out for the road run. We in the southeast ireland Ford six cylinder club held a meet in kilkenny, Dec 30th,to mark 30 years of the 7810.as far as I could count there was 33. And we had nearly double that with other fords. I took in my own Ford 7910 on a set of new fire stones as it happens. The day raised 3194 euro for "embrace", a charity that supports farm families affected by death or serious injury. Keep up the good work. Kind regards

Great looking tractor. Got a 10 my self that's featured in 4 or 5 youtube videos. Got it from Ireland a few years ago. Loads of classic big fords over there. Love the video and look forward to your new posts

Great video love the two tractors my dad had a tw 20 then later he got a tw 35 thought they were brilliant tractors

Summut up with that TW, wasn’t any gear crunching !. Saunders is forever crunching his !.

Love the fords. Just bought my first tractor at 14. Bought a 1940 Ford 9N.

Lovely tractor, we’ve got a Tw-20 and a 7710 on farm, you can see in my videos, we used to have a big fleet of ford tractors, can’t beat them! Your tw10 looks great 👍

That looked like a good run to be on. I'd have had a run down just to see the MB's. Most we've had at Newby hall was about 3 or 4.

Get the plough on and in the same field as George with his TW and plough and lets see how they do. Fantastic old tractors that can still do a days hard work i have a 8210 super Q and others [youtube rags ploughing match 2018] shows 8210 ploughing.

Good to see someone putting thought into the type of tyres they put onto a classic tractor. You see too many beautiful restorations ruined by cheap looking and often over sized tyres being fitted. I know if the tractor is still expected to work then larger tyres maybe a necessary compromise.

Some proper boots on again mate.

apparently TW stands for two wheel drive and FW for four wheel drive. the tractors where badged for the north American market. the four wheel drive TWs only appeared in europe.

Both 2WD and front wheel assist appeared in North America, the 2wd being more popular.

Marvellous turnout, wonderful tractors all, tell me I read once in the tractor mags that the powers that be were insisting white road diesel had to be used on a road run, is that the case? It isn't the case in Eire, well not yet.

hi muck , we just opened our TW10 for clutch job , the discs are all eaten and both diaf. and flywheel are in bad state , coming week we get to the shop for parts . not ready for new tyres yet .........

aha , do you know if all TW10 have axillary fueltank on the left side under the step ? we have tested our new clutch and it works wonder !

Someone mentioned the Doe Triple-D but I can't find the comment. Yes it was brilliant to see one there on a road run !

If I remember rightly, weren't they supplied with Kleber tyres from new , or were they an option?

What do you use the sugar beets for in the background there? Out here the only things that gets fed sugar beats is the deer during hunting season ;D Tried feeding them to the cows and they just ignored them. Horses love them though!

Sugar beet goes for refining into sugar but what you can see in the background are Fodder Beet. They are used for feeding stock, they get chopped in an auger bucket and fed to cattle. Hope you're well and I wish you a Happy New Year !

Thank you, I'd love to but I have a fairly busy life and don't just put vids up just to gain subs or appear popular. I like to film stuff that I enjoy and share it with others. I'm glad you enjoy the vids and there will definitely be more to come 👍

Lord Muck the old guns love their port 😂😂 The beaters cart here is towed by a 7810 two wheel drive . A tractor I used to do all the drilling with back in the day, always felt that power was wasted with a two wheel drive if that makes sense

I shift up and down seamlessly just to annoy him 🤣 In fairness I drove a TW for years and cut my teeth on a 6700 before that... 😉

when fossit and thorn from Fakenham came to mend our puntures in the seventies they would use a wooden wedge to break the seal,,none of these pnumatic press breakers melarki ,me ole mucker,,,ohhhhh they were the days on a freezing janruary
