Unless your coin is in shiny brand new condition it's not worth much. If it has a D or S under the year it's worth a little more but if it's worn it's not worth trying to sell. The valuable ones are 1931 with an S, 1924 with a D, any 1922, most with mint mark (D and S) before 1918.

There are 7 different kinds of 1982 cent (large date or small date/bronze or copper plated zinc/D mint Mark or not) but none of them are worth much. They struck 10,000,000,000 of them! If there's an error on it it's worth something though.
