In the comics he survives and the show definitely left space for the same to be true. Not to mention an upcoming Echo series would be a great fit for more Kingpin.

I am amazed at how many people think Kingpin is dead. He walked off an arrow to the chest, body slam from a car and exploding arrows but the unshown gunshot of unknown trajectory got him? Stop it. When Echo starts I think we will have a better idea.

A single bullet to the face in an alley from a scorned ally is one of the less likely triggers of plot armor.

They should have had Charlie Cox sitting next to Jeremy Renner in the end credit scene after the musical number and have him look over to him and say, “For once… I’m grateful that I’m blind”. 😂

I love all the comments when Kate starts fighting Kingpin like "Does he have superpowers?" and "Bro he's strong as f***." That's probably because Kingpin's literally all muscle. No powers, no enhancements, he's just all meat. There's a reason he's survived really, *really* weird stuff that probably should have killed him, in both comics and the Netflix series.

Yeah yeah but in the Netflix series,he has an specialised suit against bullet and knife and such, he's is still just human,a big strong human that can take punches from a hardened fighter like daredevil. Here,he is survived an arrow through a Hawaiian shirt,ripping apart car doors,surviving a head-on collision with a freaking car AND an explosion in close proximity,if he is revealed to have survived Maya,that means he survived a point blank shot from a pistol. I don't think this iteration of kingpin is the same as the one from the Netflix series,just played by the same actor. He went from a gritty realistic character to an superhuman,comic adjacent character

What a ride this show was. Contrary to some belief, I quite enjoyed the Hawkeye series, finale and the depiction of Kingpin. Yes, it's not the Netflix version, but I'm still glad to see Vincent D'Onfrio back as Wilson Fisk. It especially was awesome hearing him say *"An Avenger..."* Plus, I know for a fact he ain't dead. He's probably setup for the Echo spin-off series. Also, the "post-credit scene" was quite fun. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

At 8:05 ... that was a genuine bitchslap. I'm sure their reaction while in character was very real.. Also, after that "S.H.I.E.L.D. on the watch" reveal, we all know for sure Laura used to Scooby-Doo a lot of crap as an active agent (that was a meta reference). This finale was both hilarious and emotional.

@@ketchup016 What "evil" cues though? Besides going to a black market auction (which all billionaires do) what "cues" did he really display? He held back because he didn't want to hurt his stepdaughter not because he was hiding some sinister secret, he was genuinely naive even to the point of being set up by his own fiance, and he obviously stole the Ronin sword because he loves swords his literal name in the comics is The Swordsman. I think you're just so used to lazy and predictable writing that it appears good considering every show's "suspense" is broken down to common sense and critical thinking.

I know this is an unpopular one, but I quite liked this finale. I think all of the Marvel shows are overstuffed, but to say that this show is entirely ruined is a bit of a stretch. It would have benefitted from one more episode but I still think this finale wrapped most things up rather nicely. Hawkeye shot up as one of my fav projects this year, and I'm super excited to see where they're gonna take Kate Bishop next. Hopefully, with a show with Yelena, they deserve it! (Also Laura Barton being an ex SHEILD agent makes so much sense, and maybe they'll put her in Secret Invasion).

I agree! I quite liked this show (I am biased because I’ve loved Hawkeye ever since I was 12) and I adore the laidback Christmas vibes it had. It was fun but still had heart and expanded the Marvel universe. My favorite show was Loki but WandaVision was also fantastic. I liked FWS too, but it had more noticeable flaws, especially with its finale. What If is the only show we’re I was like “ok, this is awful.” We seriously got Ms Marvel pushed back for that crap! But all in all, Marvel’s killed it this year!

No way he survived that huge ass tree collapsing without any broken bones. Kingpin deserves his own movie "Justice doesn't take a holiday." And neither does Johnny O'Dell. Yeah, the reel rejects are great man. Happy and impressed you got this one out so quick and it's still up to your same high quality of editing. Recovering from COVID, and you still give us a Christmas present! Very enjoyable, thanks! I agree with these reactors. This series helped me appreciate Hawkeye as an Avenger way more than I have. I love how in the rogers musical they show ant-man in the battle of New York insinuating that they believe he was there, just to small to actually be seen.

I enjoyed Hawkeye very much I hope Disney + continues the series with season 2 & yes the Rogers the musical scene in the bonus mid-credit scene is still silly but funny

I think Kingpin took the super soldier serum and that’s why he was so strong and he survived an explosion. And also why he survived a bullet to the face. (If he didn’t die on screen, he didn’t die) I also think that little boy is KINGPINS SON.
