​@@MrZaku-rh4qt True. He needs a good looking alt mode, a nice articulated bot mode and also needs to do the whole thing Primes trailer does; becoming super pants. That takes time. Same case with the possible Hasbro legacy version. But I am sure both are worth the wait, once they are out.

Rollout looks like a core class inferno.

Emgo's worst nightmare happened to me. When I was messing with him, one missile fired off because I held it wrong, flung off behind the tv...I watched EXACTLY where it landed, but when I looked for it, it was gone. I moved out everything behind the tv, moved the wires, looked on top of the tv stand, on every shelf under the tv, along the carpet and wall, EVERYWHERE. Thing is just completely lost to the void. It didn't even go more than 3 feet for crying out loud!

Now we can all pray and hope that we get a Legacy Armada Overload and Armada Jetfire this year. And of course a Fans Hobby Armada Jetfire as well

Ultra Magnus

I got him a week ago and I can say that these Armada third party figures are the only kind I buy because Armada was my show growing up. I can't wait for Jetfire and Tidal Wave to become Prime's Pants and turn my Galva Tyranno into Ultra Megatron.

Ty emgo for showing me something I didn't know about a figure I own. In return I give you a bit I found about the figure: you can store the mini bot in cannon mode by turning him the opposite way of normal and sloting him in. This will come in handy when they finally release their armada jetfire

I feel like they will recolor Rollout and Overload into Fan Hobby of Energon Ultra Mangus in the near future.

I was really wanting to get these FanToys figures. Overload, Prime, and Megs. When I'm ready to get one....something happens to ruin the day. It's times like this, I'm glad I have the complete Armada line so I have the trio. I really like displaying Prime, Jetfire, and Overload in vehicle modes. It's also cool to see all 3 in combine form loaded up with minicons. Rollout looks hilarious with the big head out ha ha. Wow the Armada Rollout had more of a weapon mode ha ha.

i think this was supposed to be ultra magnus cause in the cartoon ultra magnus was name dropped but only this character was shown, so i'd love to see an overload in magnus colors

One thing that is notable about Rollout is that while he doesn't have ankle tilt, the ankle hinges can slide in and out. This helps a lot with getting alt/robot/cannon mode lined up properly. There are also a lot of sliding mentioned in the transformation that is important to get alt mode lined back up, especially with the positioning of the arms. I swear, it looks like the tabs that are supposed to hold the legs/cannons to the arms in alt mode come in 2 flavors based on width, which makes me think there might be some alterations made when Jetfire comes out so that he'll rest properly on Overload. Hopefully that will make him more stable. That, or Fans Hobby will do a "v2" or upgrade kit or something. I'm actually kind of sad that X-Load isn't as heavily armed as Overload is. There's a few cannons molded into the Armada toy that didn't make the transition to Fans Hobby.

FansHobby Has Released MB-22 Space Shuttle (Armada Jetfire) and it's compatible with Naval Commander and X-Loadout

My head cannon was that this minicon had a huge chip on his shoulder about not being a full fledged autobot so he built himself a mech suit to blend in. And tried to hide the truth from his fellow autobots.

So, this is basically a mech-armor for the tiny robot.

fanshobby: can do theads like a champ but can't figure out a trailer hitch

it's a good figure, but it removesthe most iconic (to me) part of the original overload- the faux-partsforming where the legs slide onto the arms. blew my mind as a kid.

Maaaaaan I remember the Overload toy I used to own, back in 2009 I think, those were great!

Honestly? Hasbro should make a Leader class Overload for Armada Prime

Man when I first saw this combined mode in the Armada cartoon I thought Megatron survives how? The combined mode between absolute and naval Commander: "let's eliminate everything from existence and that general direction now"

I really like how Rollout/Overloads design is inspired by Apex/God bomber, little g1 roller and powermaster Prime. That all while still being its own figure and character. Such a fun design!

I don't remember overload ever having a robot mode in the show, if he did it definitely would've looked like this.

He did like only 2 scenes he got some sort of love in the pack in comic and the dreamwave comics but that was it for this guy

He just shows up in the show without any explanation. The show even sort of implies he's not fully sentient and rather just a case of a tech upgrade for Optimus. He shows up a couple of times in the comics where both Rollout and Overload is seen (implied that Overload itself is just a big body for Rollout though)

Pity that it doesn't have all of the same minicon connection points that the original version had. Imaging building up the combined mode with all of the Armada minicons attached?

I couldn't find your review for FansHobby's version of Armada Optimus Prime. All I could find was Galvatron and this guy right here!

@sunsetschannel5439yeah he had no character in the show but in Dreamwave’s armada comics there is some development basically making him a god master where the main body is essentially a transtector with rollout being the only sentient part of the whole thing

Tiny little robot

the little one reminds me of the way Transformers Go Ganoh transforms with the arms and doors used as arms looks like i found the name i dub for Ganoh’s name to be as Overload i got Prowl for Kenzan and Jetfire for Jinbu as their dub names this also reminds me of the Titans Return line having a small figure as the head for its entire body

The figure is a tank love it!

With Overload combined with Optimus Prime He can over kill the decepticons.

I still haven't got mine he's has yet to be sent to my retailer where I preordered him from

While Overload himself looks quite different in stance and proportion to the og toy, Rollout is incredibly similar, with both the gun hands and overall transformation being very similar.

Overload's transformation is similar to Energon Inferno/Roadblock.

I think the speed on the card might be off or maybe it's done in the meter system.

God I need this guy so bad, my original broke early on

The original gun form for Rollout when it comes to the original toy is kinda worse as it's just the truck mode with two gun barrels out the back and he's head upside-down.

Fans Hobby should do a cerulean blue version to make ultra magnus.

I think I like him better with the legs extended.

I do not like the way they did the hips but I’m glad someone did a modern overload

I have to say, I'm not too impressed with the actual connections holding X-Load and Naval Commander together in both their combined modes. Nothing about them being flimsy came up in the video, and maybe they feel much sturdier in hand, but just going by looks they don't fill me with a lot of confidence. That's a lot of weight to put on a couple of fairly small tabs...

The weight isn’t on the tabs though. In base mode the weight is being held mostly by the platforms and in robot mode the weight is mostly on prime’s shoulders. It’s pretty well distributed.

maybe this is the prime for me? I mean this is basically what I wanted. An Optimus that upgrades into a super Optimus that can combine with several of Optimus' friends. But that vehicle mode doesn't feel like optimus to me and it's a shame to exclude an Orion Pax mode.

this is Armada Optimus Prime its accurate to the show and no orion pax on that show. If you want Orion Pax, get the potp optimus prime.

@@akmalfakhruddin7285 it doesn't exist anymore. Not a single place where I can buy it. And is there a rule that third party figures can only be exact copies of oficil figures? I've seen some that don't resemble any oficial figure I've ever seen. What I'm looking for is a prime that combines all the optimus primes into one Perfect Prime. But sory for ruining your day by wanting that.

never watched Armada, didnt collect the figures. Never heard of this character before. Pretty cool.
