They were in limited supply which I was disappointed about because Star Saber/Victory Saber was only $150 which I would be willing to pay for a figure with everything offered with him.

@@hobartpaving8986 I just wish they would release these as retail releases after a while. It would be cool to own some of these but I don’t have the money they want for it during preorder and when it actually launches it doesn’t last long and is still expensive.

Deathsaurus is a great example of a simple transformer done very well. It doesn’t really do anything terribly interesting or groundbreaking with its transformation. It does, although, have the detail, design, and heft to make it look and feel incredible. More importantly worth the money.

I honestly wish more figures were like this. Don't try to reinvent the wheel or get super facy with the transformation, just make them as solid as possible in both modes and spend the budget on paint apps/details.

Another small tip to add: This feature does not include in the instruction sheet, but you still can detach the lower triangular tip of both Deathsaurus wings, and use it as a boomerang just like it shown in the Victory anime.

Regarding the tiger chest issue, make sure that the rear legs are lined up with the front hips - it should look like a rectangle without any parts sticking too far out or too far up. Once I started doing that on my copy the problems with it tabbing in stopped.

Oof! You have my condolences. The average secondary asking price on this guy is like $260+ US right now before shipping I wish you Luck in finding it cheaper. I know how you feel since I have to save up to get a replacement copy for my haslab Unicron that got stolen on me last year along with most of my collection.

It should have been the other way around, considering Deathsaurus took command after Galvatron and Scorponok both fell. Galvatron in ice by the Autobot Headmasters, and Scorponok (while in powered up black form) by Ginrai (Powermaster Optimus Prime, in super mode).

If I recall properly. Deathsaurus was only in command of the decepticons during Victory was because Galvatron got defeated by "THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP" back in Head masters.

After a fiasco where I missed the delivery two days in a row after opening this guy he’s easily my favorite Haslab figure to date.

The 2 little vehicles are Autobot Micromaster Rescue Patrol.

I am happy i got this figure, will probably take a few months for Europe to get theirs in. I hope Hasbro re-issues Galaxy Shuttle.

I'm so happy they did Deathsaurus, and that they did him properly. A Commander Class would have sufficed but he wouldn't have had as many accessories or paint apps and that'd be a shame. I love that his alt-mode is basically a robot version of something Godzilla would fight, which is a mixture of two things I'm into. I also have the MMC D-Zef Continuum and he's pretty nice but I think the Haslab is actually better. I may keep Haslab in bot mode and D-Zef in Murderchicken mode.

I can’t post the picture but when I had him next to my Conure (small murder parrot) my boys started shouting “TWINNSIES!!” Murder chicken and the murderbird

I think it is a shame that the wings in particular are not silver in color, the animation model has white lines on them to indicate shininess.

I can definitely see this as a figure for Red Geist from the brave series. Great review btw ^^

It felt weirdly good to actually get a hold of a new Transformers figure BEFORE Emgo got his hands on it and put a review out on it honestly. All that aside tho as someone who never had any attachment or interest in the Victory series I have to say this guy might just be my favorite Transformers figure I've gotten my hands on in a long time and he was totally worth the investment!

They could've colored the eyes of the bird better, but it and all D-Saur's mini-cons are cute. The chest tiger looks more like a cute little sphinx. OVERALL, great looking set.

Don't feel bad Emgo. Mine has the same issue with the chest minion connection not being very seccure. Otherwise I love this figure, and think they did a much better job on this than they did Victory Saber. And thanks about the tip with the knees. I was wondering what I was doing wrong to get him in the chair. It sucks that he doesn't actually sit in it. I predict a 3rd party upgrade in the future for that.

The lion feet positions probably need some tweaking to help the fit with the chest.

@@nameforcomments4092 No I don't think that's the issue. It's more like the connection points aren't narrow enough to completely & firmly fit in so one side doesn't become fully flush with the chest. Not to mention it really could have used a locking system of some sort, or at least plug in points to hold firmly. Its hard to describe the type of connection system they used here.

I have no ties to him or Star saber but they both are cool just not for me! This is why I love watching you mess with these

I think there getting better with the micro masters we when from bad transformations and combiner weapons to actually good transformations hope we get more for legacy united
