That's motivation enough for me to not only keep creating but also take some time to talk to anyone who comes up to me in public.

First world problems right? When you’re so famous, everyone recognizes you and wants a picture.

Here in Toronto, Canada most Viet restaurants also focus on Southern Vietnamese cuisine. I am always excited when I find Bun Cha here.

I used to live a few blocks from Truth BBQ. Its one of my favorites, up there with Tejas and Corkscrew bbq. We don't have any good Texas bbq out here in Long Beach. Hem restaurant looks good, very similar to Oc & Lau in Orange County

@@MillionaireMan3178 I'm in downtown near Cambodia Town. There are lots of good Cambodian and Thai restaurants in the area. I love having Hu Tieu at Phnom Penh Noodle Shack. Also a good banh mi shop called Pickle Banh mi just opened up on Anaheim & Alamitos.

@@baopham8676 Miss the California coast weather and mountains but hate the politics. Don’t like the Texas heat and Houston humidity but love the culture here. People are not as socially liberal here and it’s hard to connect but those who we do connect with are really good friends. So Texas is home and Cali is my getaway spot 👍🏼

When are you going to SoCal? I just discovered your videos and I can’t wait for you to come and try out the authentic Vietnamese food in SoCal little Saigon, the OG one. We got, Southern viet food (phoholic), hue food (hue kitchen), northern pho (pho thin), banh xeo Van the OG since 1975. Tram chim for do nau. You have to come here man, can’t wait to meet you 👍 I’ve lived in little Saigon SoCal all my life and I’ve been to vietnam. I can say that some viet dishes here are even better than vietnam.

​@@phucmapvlogI went to the market today and saw my friend Luon, she sells flowers, bamboo and home and garden decorations. She left Saigon in the early 70's. She has a sister there and she showed me a picture of her having clams. When I said nghêu, she said that I pronounced that correctly. That made my day. Then I wore my newest tshirt into the Mekong market food court and ordered banh khot for lunch.

I have a question. I always tell people this story but was never sure if it was something localized in Can Tho and surrounding villages or if it was nationwide. in 2001 and 2007 every morning around 6am or 7am I believe do they still play on loud speakers throughout the city and Jungle the National Anthem and the governments thoughts for the day for about half an hour to an hour? lol I always wondered if they did that in the cities like Ho Chi Minh or Hanoi or if it was just a jungle or district thing. lol It was the worst thing to hear when you were hungover lol

@bong-miufamily979 Is it 5am? Thats worse. I lived for 1 year in a shoe store, one of those shops on the street that is a shop in day and family house at night. The speakers were attached to the building. Do they do that in the city too?

@@Mexishark909 That's right . 5am. I don't live in the city, I live in a small town 120km from Ho Chi Minh city.The speakers are mounted on some electric poles in residential areas. We've become used to listening to it all the time, and sometimes when it's on loudspeaker we don't pay attention.

I have actually heard that in a few cities throughout Vietnam, but not sure about Saigon. They would have small trucks drive through the alleys blaring messages sometimes

It only counts if you use Đầu tiên.
