1. I am with Mrs Makhs. I also use my washing rag to bath and dry myself and the towel to just move from the bathroom to another room 😂😂 2. My grandmother and my mom also start devotion ka sefela. I've changed that for myself. Most days, I prefer playing music in the background and meditate on the word... Or just listen to music or in complete silence. It's not the same everyday, but for them, it's the same always. 3. #TRADITION 4. We will keep doing our homework - telling the community about the channel and interacting on paid posts 💃

😂😂😂😂😂 I actually didn’t realise I had this laugh until we started the KZread channel😂😂

One family tradition we have and I will always appreciate is family prayer in the evening. At our church, we have a quarterly lesson Bible study that consists of lessons for daily study and we just go through that. We have praise and worship, Bible study and prayer. I didn't like it much as a kid but in hindsight, I am so grateful. Not only do I feel I have a solid foundation in my faith, but I am generally confident and well-spoken because of that. My dad made us read out loud a lot, I hated it because he would shout at us when we made mistakes, but now I am in a position where I don't even flinch when I am asked to read out loud or present stuff, even when I am unprepared because of all the preparation that started at home. This is one tradition I am taking with me when I get to my marital home when my time comes.

I grew up in a home where my mom was open, shared a lot and would apologies without thinking twice. My husband is from a completely different home. Definitely something I have to teach him. Thank goodness he’s open to learning

My parents used to discuss or even just mention financial issues when we were growing up.. however I realised in my adult life that I developed financial anxiety because I'd think if I bought myself a pair of jeans, I wouldn't be able to pay my bond because sometimes when I'd ask for something my parents would say "no, we have to pay the bond" It took a long time to undo that..

We can definitely see how this can create anxiety in children. We sometimes hear Lehakoe asking us questions about money that a child shouldn’t even be asking about. Kids need to be kids

Tradition! My grandmother used to also gather us every evening for prayer, she would pray for such a long time until we fall asleep😅, but I have kept the prayer tradition until this day. Lovely installment as always🥰🤩

#Tradition Im with Phetola😂😂. I still wipe my body with my wash cloth. I also never understood drying with a towel. So I grew up having dinner on the table with my parents and still do it even now and I really love that tradition because I got to share stories and my day with my parents. That is one thing I will take to my household one day. 🤗 Thank you guys for the funny installment. I literally laughed the whole entire time. 🤣🤣

Mr Makhs looks more and more like his dad every day.. Pheto, I use the vaslap for wash and dry when I bath.. but somehow I dry with a towel when I shower.. I never took note until JUST this moment. 🤔

It's humbling to consider how far beyond his own family & household GrandPa Kennedy's prayers have gone & are still going. We give thanks, glory & honour unto the LORD GOD Almighty.🙌🏾

Also....waslap is for bathing and wiping. Towel is to cover and walk to your room 😂 I can just imagine the amount of towels being washed weekly with Mr Makhs' "weird ways" i kid it's not weird it makes sense its just so different to how I grew up lol

Aus’ Pheto, I’m totally like you in terms of drying myself with the washing rag and my husband uses the towel. Yho I can’t. And I feel like the towel develops a smell because it’s so big and soggy even after a day or 2, whereas the washing rag dries quickly.

Towels are for wrapping ourselves guys 😂. It would be interesting to hear from other men. Seems like most women use the washing rag for drying.

#tradition In America, we dry off with towels. To avoid excess water on the towel, you can use the wash cloth to remove "dripping water."

💯 % with Petola here. Everything that she said about the washing rag, you are me 100%. Towel is just to cover yourself not dry yourself. I also judged those around me that used it to dry themselves 😅. I just like keeping my towels clean, till today.

Comfort Fabric Softener has been my softener since I moved out of home 😊

I dry myself with a was lap when travelling/not at my house to avoid having to dry towels. Otherwise at my house, I use towels.

I use my vaslaap to dry myself too, it’s easier to wash and dry. My husband uses a drying towl and I honestly hate it because it’s damp and we can’t always wash it everyday. Lol love you guys. Your topics are always so informative and relatable❤️❤️

Me too, i dont understand the Towel thing. I use the towel just to cover myself. Drying yourself makes a lot of laundry

I went to a workshop months ago for making prayer time interesting for families with children. Need to find my notes.

We used to have that and gather so much until my grandfather passed on then they stopped including us because he was the tree that brought us together regardless of where rich stable or poor you are within my family until this day they do gather without us cause they rich have businesses lot of car’s houses and my parents divorced each other them has one car and we just not stable enough to live with any of our parents that’s why we moved to my grandmother I miss my grandparents were still alive I miss those gatherings so much we don’t even communicate on WhatsApp just face to face when I visit church because We left my home church cause family was starting to leave as well but we left because of my parents situation so we are now at 3C ministries in centurion

In my house only the kids use towels, me and hubby use our face cloths to dry ourselves. Actually, there are no towels in my room, i just put on a gown if i need to leave my room. My family is big on birthdays, the only time we sat around the table to eat was on our birthdays. We cook up a storm, a starter, main, dessert and cake. We all still go home on each other's birthdays and celebrate them together. I did that with my kids during lockdown but we haven't kept it, next year we must start it again.

Watching this has made me appreciate my parents and everything they have passed down to my siblings and I. Also, I’m with Ous Pheto… I use vaslapa to wipe myself also😅😅
