It only takes a second for a kid to run off. You could turn around to pick up your book, turn around and they're gone.
Thank you Searchers!!
Absolutely amazing ❤ brilliant news…well done search team ❤

Oh, this chokes me up. My oldest went missing when he was four for about an hour. I can’t imagine what those poor parents went through with Christian missing for 24 hours. Thank God for the rescuers.

I'm so sorry that happened to you and your son. Terrible thing to happen! BTW, that man saying horrible and cruel things to you shouldn't be able to now, hopefully.
With an Angel watching over him and staying in that spot, he was thankfully found by the rescuers. God bless the first responders and volunteers 🙏🤘
Wow perfect 👌 🥰 💞 😍 👏 and thanks so much 🙏 😊 to all great people helping please 🙏 GOD BLESS 🙏 ❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
A little brave boy 🇺🇸🇳🇱
I suggest parents have their children wear emergency GPS monitoring or a loud noise alarm bracelets that seniors wear in case of a fall when out camping. So relieved he’s safe.

I have a collar on my dog that tracks where she is, for $20/month, I can find her to within 6 feet of where she is. I don't have to wait for someone to find her and take her where a chip can be identified. They should make these as bracelets for kids.

Taught my kids to stand still, hug a tree and blow their whistle. Also didn't let them out of sight but redundancy in safety is good thing

It is absolutely impossible to keep staring at your child 24/7. Everyone has to sleep, use the bathroom, you literally turn around to get something, they are GONE. He's 4 years old not 2. Huge difference, once they are four they get ideas, thoughts and off they go.

And that's why my kids got a loud whistle on necklace put on,the hug a tree instructions. As a parent you must think 2steps ahead, that includes CPR and first aid instruction, especially if you want to camp

Oh thank you to the rescuers getting that child back safely to his family. Thank you thank you.
I am so happy Christian's parents got to reunite with him, alive and well. This ordeal certainly had an emotional toll on them all. You can be watching your kids like a hawk and still they are able to dash in a split second and leaving you searching under every stone. Especially at camping sites.
Thank God and all rescuer’s and anyone else for helping physically , kind words & prayers!! God Bless all Beautiful ending!!!😊💙🙏🙏🙏🙏💋

Of course people should keep an eye on their kids. Do you think these parents didn't?? Of course I did. It probably have several children and you're camping and you're getting stuff out of the car and you're doing all this stuff. I don't care how a great of a parent you are. I'm sorry I don't mean to be short with a person who broke this that I'm responding to but these parents have been through hell worrying about their child. They're great parents. They're bringing their children out into nature spending time with them. Please do not be critical. If you can't say something nice and this situation, I don't think you should come in at all. That's just my opinion...

@@user-sp7kv8ft2nremember those radio ads “ go to the forest “ ! And all the fun stuff talked about - when really - the dangers are rampant . Little kids that age are happy at a city park . A backyard game of catch .
teach your children this: If they look around and cant see you they need to stop moving and wait. If in a crowd, teach them to stop moving and step off to the side. It works. My son got out of sight of us on Disney Worlds main street. we went back and found him waiting off to the side but he was 7. Teach them to stop walking. They must stop, wait and yell. The STOPPING is key.
God bless. Thanks for all that helped.❤
Thank God he was found safely!!! Thank you to everyone!!! I'm also thankful he didn't wander very far. Please let your children know that if lost.... not to wander too far away so that they will be easier to find. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Watch your kids!!! They are not dogs or cats. They need supervision! 🤨

Judge less & care more! Don’t presume the parents didn’t/weren’t “watching/supervising” their child/ren. You can literally look away to sneeze, grab a tissue, and start mopping your nose and your child can be out of sight. If you call them and they don’t respond, which often they don’t because they are absorbed by something, you can literally haul off in the wrong direction and then miss them altogether. This little one was very close to where he disappeared - dozens & dozens looking for him, but no one even heard him until they were all but on top of him. Grateful the litttle one and his family are together and whole. Thank God🙏🏻

Thank God it ended well 🙌 🙌 Kudos to all who rose up to look for him. God bless you all ❤
Kids do not know how to make decisions well which is why they need to be watched every second. He obviously is allowed to freely roam anywhere he wants at home so he didn't know any better at the campsite. I'm glad he is okay and hopefully the parents learned something in order to keep him safe as he continues to learn and grow.
What amazing editing!
😊😊😊 So happy for this family... And God bless America... We live in the country where we'll put boats in the water planes in the sky and boots on the ground. I hope during this election year in particular that we remember this... That we are united together. Not always in every thought or opinion, but in our hearts and in our decency. We honor families be honor those that give of their time and effort to help others. Plus America. Thank you for our precious little Christian getting home to Mom and Dad and his siblings. Maybe we should put whistles around our kids next when they're little in the woods... I know I got separated from my dad a couple of times when I was young! ❤❤❤❤
Stick together now. ❤️

Would have never imagined any of my three older girls doing this…then? We had our 4th and could 100% imagine this happening. She is so fast and sneaky. I’m glad he was found safe!

Happy he s safe But cant understand how’s happening

I know hindsight advice is not wanted here… but just a suggestion. Give young children a coaches whistle.

I would never take a tot to a forest and cause all types of avoidable problems. It's like you want the worst to happen to your baby on a camping trip.

A four year old is NOT a baby! Everyone here needs to stop blaming his parents-HE ran off and I'm sure he disobeyed them in doing so. Then we are full circle back around to-He is FOUR! They have their own mind at times and they are fast. I am betting he never disobeys the camping rules again. Consequences teach!
What is wrong with these parents? Shouldn't their kid be sitting in the tent playing on a tablet?? Smh /s😂 Glad he's found. I have a collar on my dog that tracks where she is, for $20/month, I can find her to within 6 feet of where she is. @M_SC starting at the camp, make widening circles around the camp. A quarter mile could be covered in less time than it took for searchers to get the camp to start. But some people like you have no business being in the woods or the comments section.
Bad parents
watch your kids
Same kid in Centre America was never found, thanks to tge US.
The money spent looking for the missing child should be the responsibility of the parents. Watch your children and act like you care about the welfare of your children
Sorry. Watch yourkids.

Thank care of your children. Hold them tight.😢
Send them a bill for not been responsible
You take your kids out into the wilderness… did it ever, even for a microsecond given todays technological mean cross the parents minds to get a Apple AirTag and a bracelet the looks like a watch, made for children and put it on a child that is know to wonder off through no fault of his own! Did the parents ever think about that? Apparently NOT
