I just came across this clip, and this reminded me of our love story. My wife and I have also met in pre school, they moved away in year 3. We kept some contact, only 12 years later in our 3rd year of university we rekindled our friendship, that led to romance and to a marriage of 31 years. We are now battling brain cancer together, as she was diagnosed with it 3 months ago. It's just so unbelievable to see that there are still others that have the same experiences. Just follow your heart 20/09 - Thank you for all you comments in the past 5 months since I wrote the comment. Unfortunately the Lord have come and took my beautiful angel home, during the weekend, to Him to cure her completely from her cancer. It was a wonderful time we shared in our marriage and he last 9 months was just such a blessing to be able to care for her. Now I rest in the Lord, knowing that she is cured and pain-free.

My goodness...that was adorable! She was emotional when she recognized him, so it seems she was very much attached to him when he decided to break up the relationship. You can clearly see that deep down she was hoping it would be him, as soon as she saw his face, the emotion on her face was 100% genuine. No one should ever knock young love. My son fell in love with his wife in first grade. I taught him how to sign "I love you" so that every morning when I would drop him off at school, he would look back before turning the corner to his class and I would sign "I love you" and he would sign it back. They were great friends all through school till the 12th grade, when he finally asked her to be his girlfriend. After they were bf and gf, I heard the story of him signing "I love you" to her in first grade and she would sign it back. Lol!They have been together ever since. They are married and gave me two beautiful grandsons so far. She is the most wonderful daughter-in-law! ❤

I was touched and the second time I played it, tears were running down my cheek studying Danielle's face as she realizes who's behind the curtain. I read in the comments that they got married, great! I think this was the first one I saw and now i've watched many of them, yet this one remains my favorite.

I can see in her eyes as she recognizes who he is that you can almost feel the love in her heart that she has for him and he for her. It's hard for her to take her eyes off of him as she talks and she cries when he talks to her. I have watched this over and over as it touches me deeply. I hope they are able to build a very strong and life lasting relationship.

My Grandson had a strong bond with a girl at school from about age 6 to 10 when he had to move 3,000km away and lost touch, they were inseparable, he had behavioral problems and she had total control over him, when ever he was angry in class the teacher would ask her to talk to him and he would immediately calm down, it was a beautiful friendship, when he moved he really missed her, he went back to his old town 9 years later and knocked on her door, she answered to door and recognized him and said his name straight away, it was just like he had only left town yesterday. you could see the love they had for each other even at that very young age and it was still there 9 years later.

I like that she was humorous saying that she had few fiancies and 5 children but deep down inside she never forgot about him and always wanting him back. I found no other evidence on french media, and it was already 18 years ago, things maybe changed not long after that who knows Now, after 12 years and from a child love, it wasn't sure at all they would become lovers, it's rarely the case : they have grown differently, loved other people, developped different tastes or goals for their respective lives. But that's still a sweet story though, it didn't lead to nor was true love; but that's a wonderful friendship in the end !

I did some serious checking and yes, it does seem that indeed they got married and have been married for some years now and with two children. Smile. You can find more in the comments/replies below but it's some labor because there are so many. I did.

The way they look at each other is priceless, one can see theirs is real love. I hope they stay that much in love for the rest of their lives.

I met my husband when we were 5 years old and we were the best of friends. Inseparable really. I moved hundreds of miles away at 8 years old because of my parents divorce. Devasted is the word to describe that. I remember sobbing and saying “I didn’t get to say goodbye to *husbands name*”. I never forgot about him and thought of him quite often. 10 years later we crossed paths and our connection was just as strong. We have been married for 8 years now. Together for 12. He is the love of my life.

I loved a girl named Nichelle Sablan only to find out that in 2023 she passed away a few months before after trying to message one of her brothers about her. It really hurt because we were inseparable throughout Kindergarten to 2nd grade. I truly believe Nichelle came to visit me in my dreams because she was all that I thought of for the past few months for some reason. We also both had the same exact birthdays. Lovely Innocent Nostalgia. I miss you so much Nichelle, someday I will visit your grave, I swear it.

I had lost track of my childhood friend for 20 years. In that time, i did marry,.. he did not, but we found each other again and after one or 2 phone calls, we met, recognized each other easily and hugged the tightest hug ever! Now we talk/text often and we visit a few times a year. We are both respectful of my marriage and the friendship is wholesome. This story warmed my heart 100% and i cried of joy for them! ❤❤

@@bobsellars2395 Yup. My first love moved on after we had been together for nearly three years ( 19 to 21) She did the right thing. However , I still warm to the memory of a few , very good years. She lives in NZ now and I hope she's had a great life and have never wished anything but the best for her. It's been 39 years since we've seen each other.

I don't know how I arrived at this clip, but it's very poignant and personal. Yes, this happened to me as well. However, the passage of time and circumstance did not present an ultimate joy that I wish for these two. I hope that the joys of their youth will return to them 100-fold and that they will be able to savor their friendship in a loving companionship for the rest of their lives.
