I met an old lady in the Netherlands and she said she stayed each year for 3 months in Thailand. I asked her why. She said: Thailand is paradise with nice people, fantastic food and good living. Now I know what she ment with paradise. It's indeed paradise compared to the West. What I want to know is why Europe is so far behind in interior and exterior design. Asia is like at least 30 years ahead of almost everything. Thank you for showing us a different level for life, Forrest Lee! And thanks to Sophia for the tour.

Both in a great area, I usually stay around Asoke when I come to BKK, easy to get around with both the BTS & MRT close by, & a lot of shopping options minutes away! Thanks Forrest and Sophia!

The tours of both condos were fantastic. The second one ESSE seemed to be my choice it was more practical and cost wise more economical. Sophia does a wonderful job making a place into a warmer home feeling look. The locations were excellent in both places. For those who seek a great place and want a higher living standard these places would be great. Thumbs Up Forest great job along with Sophia. Best to you both from Canada EH!

that 2nd one is definitely the one i would choose, the price is much more reasonable, the size is definitely enough without being too large and the decor/style of the room seems more suitable to me as well. I was thinking the first one's gym with that private pilates/yoga area wouldn't be able to be touched but then the 2nd even had a small rock wall! I agree the first gym is still better but the rock wall and the ring to do some shadowboxing are pretty cool touches and is the cherry on top.

It’s interesting how real estate agents in Thailand are involved first-hand in the design and construction of these condo units they’re selling. Each unit is like their own personal project. Here in the US, only thing the agents do is act as the agent for the seller or buyer, and nothing more.

I am hoping if you would consider the area of Phrom Phong for one vlog and another for the Thong Lor actually you can move on to that corridor till Punawithi as this area of Ekkama,i On Nut, and Punnawithi are all very good locations with local Thai flavor. tyvm again👍

Went on a tour with her the other day. Was very professional and knowledgeable and saw some nice properties. Still undecided yet as there wasn’t a perfect one as each one had a flaw to me wether distance, size . Layout etc. So net net some good options and she’s a great agent to help find your spot.

Great - keep doing these size condos in different areas and conditions. I surely need minimum 60 m2, as I also work from home. Personally I would look for something around 40 - 50.000 baht per month. I right now rent a fairly new 75 m2 apartment in the centre of Barcelona (Spain) and pay 1300 € (47.000 baht), and would think that Bangkok should not be more expensive. Of course the amenities like you show, I don't have in Barcelona :-)) Well coming in a few weeks to study the market and will move permanently in September.

I like the two of you together in videos. I just got small wishes and that is to film the buildings a little bit better (outside before you enter). It's good as it is but if you think about it... I don't know if it's possible. But I don't find so much about coworking spaces and small offices. I don't know how big the interest is for that kind of videos. But I would love to watch videos showing it and the cost. One solution is of course to have one room in the condo as office or hang out in the buildings common areas. But I like to be able to have a small office space in an office building.

The apartment tours seems to fit your channel ,it seems like you found your “niche” on KZread,since most youtubers in Thailand copy each other.Keep uploading this type and in a decade half of the population in the US will move there.

The 2nd one is better for price and location, because you have train to airport, water transportation, and you can only go to your room and public area.

I agree Forrest would like to see some more 50sqm and above units instead of the shoeboxes. However, there may be a reason why the Celes unit still empty and brand new cause at that price point will be difficult to find your avg renter. So would be good to see bigger units 50+ but also a bit more affordable in the maybe 800-1500 range which I think is more of the sweet spot for us looking for a bigger unit but still on a bachelor budget. I did like the esse unit layout better but the location in asoke more convenient. In either case love sofias touches and decor choices and she’s well knowledge as an agent top notch! Definitely do more vids w her.

I prefer the Esse Singha apartment, though amenities aren’t as posh as the first apartment. But at 2/3 the price of Apartment 1, I would chose the Esse 100%.

Just started watching your videos and they are very educative. What are your recommendations for accommodation about a family of five for 2 weeks in Bangkok?

I contacted Sophia a few months ago to set up condo tours but unfortunately, she was away on vacation and got back to me after I found another agent! Other agent sent subordinate and did not show me anything that I asked for, except for 1 condo! Fortunately found another agent quickly that was really good! Sophia seems like a top notch agent though! I chose Ashton Asoke just for the area and convenience to everything! Only thing I don't like about this area though is lack of street food vendors!

"I'm actually excited to check out a big unit for once in Bangkok"... that's what she said! This is finally a decent size condo. The ave "luxury condo" video with 40 sqm is NOT luxury! This is a very decent one. For me personally if it's less than 100sqm it's not "luxury" but this was something I could stay in for a a month or 2... any longer time frame I would need something bigger. The 120sqm place sounds interesting! The 2nd place at the Esse (orele vato!) was too small.

Both are very nice condos it is nice to see some living space especially with being a single father of a little half Thai princess. We prefer then second one great space and fantastic amenities with great transport links, which we will need in order travel to Nakon Sawan to my in-laws and Grandparents of my daughter. How far is St. Andrews International School from the Esse? Would you get a greater discount if you rent the condo for 10 years? Furthermore I don't understand Bangkok property as seem that the market is oversupplying the demand, it seems that Thailand are obsessed with building condos and shopping complex, so it would be interesting to know what the occupying rate is for condos in Bangkok. which bring onto my next point the high prices, I understand the likes of Singapore, Hong Kong, London having high property prices due to the lack of land but in Bangkok don't seem to be struggling to house people or land ? Its in the center of Bangkok. I would say 90k is too pricey, you can find the same area with half a price. I guess because it's brand NEW.

Nice looking places. Was thinking I would sell my condo here in the US and use that to buy a nice condo there to retire at 50 but it might be a lil more pricey than I thought. My condo is almost 1900 sq feet, 2 master bedrooms, finished basement w half bath, 2 car garage, 2 pools/gyms all for $1080 a month..
