FAMILY IN PANIC AFTER ANOTHER BOAT RAMS THEM (CLOSE CALL) BOAT ZONE

Ойын-сауық

Haulover Inlet in Florida is a popular spot for experienced boaters seeking a thrill. Known for its challenging conditions and strong currents, the inlet connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway and is famous for its rough waves and strong winds, which can make boating hazardous. Despite the risks, many boaters are drawn to the inlet's challenging conditions and the opportunity to navigate through it.

    NEAR COLLISION BETWEEN TWO BOATS, ONE AT HIGH SPEED. After a heated exchange of words, we noticed the unfortunate presence of MINORS on both boats. Fortunately, a TRAGEDY was avoided as the point of impact was exactly where the two minors were seated on one of the boats. After posting this video on social media, a subscriber shared a new video taken with his phone of how this same boat, minutes before the aforementioned incident, almost collided with his boat while he was fishing with his family. Thoughts?

    He is an Asshole. Just watching that pisses me off. Easy way to kill somebody. He should be arrested reckless boating. Like playing chicken in a car. I think the fast video I watched you had about A 100 foot boat Getting swung really hard-and-fast by a wave. That little boat in that channel with fast moving water and waves very easily Could have turned really bad.

    Overtaking boat was at fault. Some folks should not be out driving aboat as it shows many are not qualified. Many do not understand the rules of the water ways.

    I didn’t see an overtake situation at all. This was a targeted attack on the smaller crafts.

    In NJ that overtaking boat would have been issued a reckless operation ticket and possibly arrested. This video should be forwarded to the proper authorities so that they can at least educate the operator of that vessel about his responsibilities and the rules of safe operation, he’s going to get someone killed and end up in prison. I’m a firm believer that everyone operating a vessel bigger than a dinghy should at a minimum pass a boating safety class, and operators of larger vessels should have a more involved class. I also think that the class should include a portion on what happens if you kill or seriously injure someone while driving a vessel. So much dangerous stuff happening. I like our canal in NJ where the marine police will get on the loudspeakers and call you out in front of everyone, and then stop you if you don’t comply.

    Well, there was no collision but it was close enough to give everyone a bath and maybe enough to knock a child overboard. The guy did deserve some choice words. I think it's funny that in all his chipping and yelling, he damn near runs his boat up on the rocks. The one that made me change my mind was the 55' Tecnomar. I thought "hey there you go Cap, nice and easy with all the bowriders." Then I saw his $3K in lines and fenders hanging off the side and BAM... New boat, clueless operator.

    Yeah but she was more concerned with moving 180 degrees so the camera on shore didn't get an unobstructed view of her ass in the thong she was wearing. If you're that shy don't wear dental floss for a bikini bottom. If u think your ass is soooo amazing that u think no one deserves to just see it for free...get over yourself , u can't take 10 steps without tripping over a perfect ass in Florida

    Regardless of who is right or wrong I hope the kids were wearing floatation devices. I wear an inflatable harness and I have a floating ditch bag close to hand. My kids had to tolerate wearing the child size ones that don’t inflate when I took them fishing. I mounted strobes and whistles to them as well. Children are precious and sometimes get into trouble when eyes in back of my head don’t work.

    It blows my mind that there is no speed limit entering inlet. Just asking for accidents. Especially larger boats can easily miss somebody in the water at high speed.

    They really need to put a speed limit at the inlet. I've seen huge yachts come flying through as well as super high speed boats - coming extremely close to small boats, paddle boarders, etc - very dangerous situations on a regular basis. Too many people showing off, waving to cameras, etc at a high rate of speed and not paying attention to what's going on around them.

  • @gotafarmyet4691

    @gotafarmyet4691

    No that could be bad as everyone will still drive at a different speed. The captain should not exceed a safe speed for the conditions, if they cannot see above the waves then they need to slow by law. Speaking of which send a link to the police to let them know about this guy so he can get safety inspections every time he goes out. Then send it to his insurance carrier and he will sell the boat fast

    Larger boat is wrong for not paying attention to his route but instead of paying attention they were distracted by showing off for the drone filming them. Drone could also be at fault here. The scumbags in the larger boat really showed their true colors in the way they reacted to the smaller boat anger after almost plowing through them.

  • @jamesranker6275

    @jamesranker6275

    The drone is not “at fault”. You are operating a boat. Your focus is and should be on the safe operation of the vessel. Period. No exceptions. Is a cell phone at fault in a car accident? No. The driver is at fault. In this case the captain is at fault. There is NO excuse for the operation of that boat. Had his PASSENGER not pointed out the boat directly in front of them he would have ran them over.

  • @trx350

    @trx350

    @@jamesranker6275 angry much? The passenger only noticed the boat at the last second. Cell phones can be and are used as a contributing factor in car wrecks. If a cell phone wasnt used during an accident would the accident have happened, don’t know. If the drone wasn’t present during this incident would this close call happened, no. Do you know why? Because there’s proof that the drone operator and the drone being there was the contributing factor in this. The fact that the idiot wasn’t paying attention is directly because of the drone. Plan and simple. The reaction of the morons on the bigger boat say all you need to know about this incident. They didn’t care. Just curious, were you the operator of the bigger boat?
