Some of us developing-nations people smell bad because we don't shower frequently enough. There is a stereotype about that in the developed nations and there is evidently some truth to it. The group that is the target of the stereotype has something in their history and culture (some tradition or characteristic (trait) that a significant number of people around the world find repulsive or, at least, unpleasant. The list goes on and on. My point is that you CANNOT dismiss stereotypes because they are not complete untruths.
