This is one of the most authentic experiences I've seen for a family on a bakfiets in the U.S.We are shedding a our second family car for a set up like this and I can't wait !

Love it. we’re a 1 car family and something like this is in our future for when our smallest kids aren’t quite up for the day’s events or when grocery shopping is on the agenda.

Do it. We sold our 2nd car two years ago and I've been doing groceries with my Bullitt on a regular basis. I love grocery day now.

Ha, this is great. Can totally relate to that whole coming home scene, kid falling asleep last minute, haha.

That or find a way to rig a windshield. My little rides up front and I made a thick marine grade vinyl windshield to attach to my handle bars.

Great vid! Mind if I asked how tall your wife is? I’m thinking of going with this same LvH side panel and seat setup, but I’m not sure if my 5’4” wife would fit comfortably in it. Thanks!

This looks so fun but have to admit I’d be a little sketched out with my little one up there. We should all have one of these but unfortunately our bike infrastructure isn’t safe enough to comfortably ride like this. Beautiful video nonetheless!

Hi Pablo, the setup is VERY similar to the kona Bikepacking setup minus the frame bag. I won’t be loading it until late next spring then I can do one! I might be able to swing a bike check here over the new year sometime though ! Keep your eyes peeled 👀 Cheers !
