    I had some difficulties enjoying shorter runs as I became a dad recently but I now try to look at it the same way as you do. They also have a lot of value and are worth enjoying to the fullest. Thanks for sharing.

    Glad to see the knee is feeling better, JRP! My knees can’t hang with running. I do miss it but they’re too stretched out now. Take care and I’ll keep an eye out for a rad pink hat for you. 😅

    I used the Burley nomad for about 2,800 miles traveling through California to Utah. It is by far not the best trailer for touring. The clearance is terrible. while it hauls okay on the road as long as it is not fully loaded as soon as you get into a remote area and you need to carry extra food and water supplies it becomes very cumbersome and will never let your bike stand while it's connected. The price is outrageous for what you get and even the hitch design is mediocre which was a surprise from Burley. I would not recommend buying any commercially manufactured bike trailer if you plan on doing serious touring. Build your own.

    I have a fenix 6 that I’ve had a long time and like. Looking at the fenix 7 to replace but … can’t help thinking, the 7 has been out for awhile when will a fenix 8 be coming? I’d hate to buy a 7 and have an 8 come out 6 mos later.

  • @JoshRomeroYT
    @JoshRomeroYT14 күн бұрын

    Yeah… who knows if a new one is right around the corner.. if I were you I’d wait… whether it’s 6mos or more you know you can upgrade once it gets an update and the Fenix 6 doesn’t change to much from the 7 so you’ll know the jump from 6-8 was worth it. Cheers !

    I use a backpack, I barely notice it most of the time as A: I'm used to it, I've worn my specific bag for about 9 years now (Dakine is GOATED), B: I've squatted 200 kilo before, the 15 kilo capacity is quite doable. A lot of cyclistss' issues can be taken care of by simply getting stronger, lol.

    Found your channel from a hunt for Fenix 7 Pro info. Would have probably enjoyed the video you have on that and passed on by - but then noticed you “were” bike focused and that ‘spoke’ to me - as I’m all into wheels and spokes - but on the geared unicycling variety (that’s my channel’s single focus). It’s really great to shift focus from time to time - and if you’d not have shared stuff about your life I’d not have realised who you are / what’s behind the person speaking about X product etc. So yeah - cool video and I take inspiration from your fitness and tech-health world. Cheers and greets from Bath UK + we’ve got two young kids using cargo bikes to get us around! Felix

    I love this video and perspective. I have owned the Apple Watch Ultra as well as the Epix Pro. However there is something that made me go to the Fenix 7 Pro (I previously owned the Fenix 7). Although the AMOLED display is “prettier,” I love the look and “feeling” the MIP display provides. I look at too many screens throughout the day, so having my watch (as a sports watch) feels easier on the eyes and looks fantastic outdoors. I appreciate AMOLED is nicer and newer but there is just something that draws me back to the MIP display.

    If you are : * carrying small loads * young * not doing other, very exhausting, activities * always riding on flat stuff * have other means of transportation ( like a car ) Then you can perfectly do non electric. I electrified mine, after five years of ownership, because of all those conditions, none apply to me.

    I've wanted something like this myself for biking out in Boulder, CO and the surrounding mountains. So often it'd be useful to quickly check in with the other end of a group when you are sometimes a canyon or two apart. Thank you!

    I sincerely can’t find any negatives on this product, maybe there are some features experienced radio users would miss from a product like this. I however am a noob when it comes to radios, therefore I don’t have much if any negative comments. Reviews are all subjective though so for me they work. Sorry if it seems like an ad, just sharing my thoughts and use case for them.

    I saw that the 7 Pro is on offer and I currently use an AWU. I love it for the aesthetic, design and feel but I'd suspect a purpose sport watch would be more competent than a general smart watch so possibly not a logical competitor. Interested to know your thoughts though

    Hello from Finland! Thank you for your video! You have interesting points, and this video gave me some new insights of cargo bikes. I’m wondering, how is your winter? Is it snowy? And how hilly is your area? My hilly area with long, cold winters had made me think only about having e cargo. Maybe it could be doable with a non e if I could take it a bit slower when climbing up the hills 😁

    I stopped using mine because of the battery and some missing features. For example, the integration with Garmin lights and radar is poor. Also, considering the device runs on Android, I don’t understand why there isn’t an equivalent to the Garmin IQ system for third party apps. I really wanted to like this device because the screen is so much better than my Garmin 1030, but I just don’t. Hopefully, the version 3 will be a winner.
