Fantastic gents. Good to openly talk about the first shot deer. Even experienced stalkers need to pay a lot of attention.

Really informative video. Peter is very knowledgeable about his subject. Looking good with the beard too!

Yet another informative episode guys. Always good to remind the novice shooters out there of shot placement & safe backstops. Keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing the next show.

Very organised and informative, seems to know what hes on about, then uses trees as a backstop...

Even when fools are stuck behind you and your working and you shouldn't care , ye still pull into a lay_ by and let us get on 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 it's a lesson to you all, be mindful as we all try to adjust to getting our country back 🚜

How can you shoot without any backstop?? Some woodland isn't an okay backstop!

I have to ask agree with Johan. The first shot you have 'some' view of what's behind the target but the second one...you have no idea of where the round is going to stop in the woods

why not shoot the bigger buck?

they probably leave them for clients, who pay them more for bigger animals/trophies :)

These are cullbucks, they want the bigger ones to spread the genes.

first deer shot very much like your backstop pretty poor

Second shot was a joke, allowing a shot like that? Maybe off sticks you would have got a better angle but probably not, no chance was that a safe backstop off a bipod, no idea what’s going on further into that wood or if it’s safe

Hi Daniel, thanks for watching, remember that the cameraman is in a very different position to the shooter. We usually make a comment about this in the film, but on this occasion hadn't included it.

​@@peterjones4442Peter I'm not sure this checks out. The deer was right in front of the woodland margin as viewed from where you took the shot. It didn't feel right to me either when I watched it.

@@tomom2011 thanks for the comment, I can only assure you that we never take shots that are unsafe or without a suitable backstop, safety is always our number one concern. Thanks for watching.

200 yds with a bad backstop ,not good not safe come back with a hight seat flat ground 200 yds joke
