I do really like the trivalence radius hat thingy. It's a nice source of HP regen and a decent helmet. Only problem with it is that while its equipped your hair disappears.

Iirc you can wear the 1st recon beret with it (and maybe just non-helmet head armor in general), although I could be wrong. Makes you look way less goofy

I've made regeneration build once, but it's not too powerful. It's good for regenerating health between the fights, but it won't outheal damage from the strongest enemies.

​@@ReapeeRon The biggest downside of that playthrough was gameplay and story dissonance. You can't get Sierra Scorched PA without nuking NCR and it locks you from completing NCR questline, if you go to the Divide after you confront Benny. If you do this before, that'll nullify narrative purpose of the DLC as the last road before Hoover Dam and a point where your faction loyalty is tested. If you're ok with that, here's another problem - required perks are given on 20th level, Scorched Sierra PA and tri-radi-thing are located in DLCs and quite hard to get. It's especially true for Scorched Sierra PA, because you have to defeat Colonel Royez to get it (and all of the nightmares of Divide, maybe Ulysses too). What I'm saying is that at the point when you've got everything for this build, you've already overcame hardest challenges of this game. But hell, even tho, being a high DT regenerating monster (IIRC you can wear halo with Elite Riot helmet, which give you more DT than Remnant's helmet) is fun.

You can actually customise your pipboy in the later games (4 and 76).

The healing headgear is nice because you can wear it just before fast traveling for incidental healing, or else wear it and then just wait for free healing. The triple valence heals twice as much as the single valence. It's slow, but I've always loved passive healing.

The best thing to pair the tri valence with is the first recon beret. Then you have 4 dt, 1 endurance, regen, 1 perception, and 5% critical chance increase

I’ve tried maxing regeneration. It’s nothing to sneeze at. You’ll out heal a lot of enemies, but it won’t win you all encounters by itself. The main issue is that high levels of radiation kinda cripple you so you have to build around this.

The first head gear can do well with the sierra madre power armor cause the power armor gives hp regeneration and good defense

Its been a long time since I used it so I'm not sure if it was eventually patched out(Xbox 360 version IIRC) but I'm pretty sure I remember the Pimp Boy screen had a massive glare issue when opened with the sun behind you making it completely unusable unless you turn around 180 degrees 🙈😅

That seems to be patched out on my end. Unlike the glitch where if you’re a female courier the pimp boy will appear slanted, as if you’re character is having trouble holding it up.

Lobotomite goggles can be used to lower your intelligence in order to get unique low intelligence dialogue options, and there are some good ones. (Example: recruiting Gannon) You can also use alcohol for this, the home-brewed wasteland tequila has particularly high INT penalty, mentat addiction and ant nectar. Here's a fun fact: you can't get the "The whole sad story" challenge from dead money unless you have 3 or less INT. You can easily get addicted to mentats there, and so can you easily find alcohol. Unfortunately, you can't do much else. I wish I could bring lobotomite goggles there. Dead money just never stops being frustrating.

How about Fallout 1 and/or Fallout 2 perks? There's must haves and total stinkers aplenty in those. Doubt you have experience needed to do it (given how few people have played it very far), but a TES Arena class tier list would be fun given there's no custom classes, and the balance is all over the place. S+ being Mage and S being Healer+Sorcerer seem clear (Arena's magic is very exploitable) but the rest is pretty open.
