Another Power Armor tip is that if you keep an empty power armor chassis is that you can add power armor parts to it to save on weight and if you have power armor parts you can't use (say it's a higher level than you) all you have to do is place a power armor chassis down add the armor to it and wait out the power armor recall time and it'll put it in your inventory. And if you find power armor that's too high of a level just take it all off the chassis, collect the chassis, place down the chassis, add the power armor parts, wait for the power armor recall timer. Did you know you don't have to wait for the timer on the recall you can just look at the Power Armor and hit "collect" 😮

Oh crap I think I accidentally stole someone’s power armor that was doing this I found a guy helping me at the power plant I’m lvl 6 and he put a chassis with full ultra cute armor down I thought he was giving me it so I took it

Whish that the zoom level would stay as a saved preference.

I'm on xbox and it's visibly more limited than on pc. I assume that's true of both console versions. Like 1/6th the distance in fo3.

So glad to be a fallout veteran to know most of these tips with the camera and quick options for leaving terminals quickly but I still have a bad habit of leaving an interior before I fast travel lol

Some very useful tips for many players. One I would add is transferring inventory, at least on Playstation. I'm sure there is a similar feature on the other platforms. If you have, say, 100000 steel, and you want to just pick up 50 from your scrap box, the usual method of transfer can take forever to lower the number from 100000 to 50. But if you use the L1 or R1 bumpers, you scroll through much, much faster. What could take half a minute to do only takes a couple of seconds.

Good call. And on PC they've now added the ability to click on the number and type in what you want. A tiny change that removed a huge frustration.

I just got Starched Genes 2 perk so I could finally drink the Marsupial Serum that's been in my inventory for so long. Being able to jump AND carry more weight is a game changer! I am very new to the wasteland so these videos are helpful. Holding B to exit terminals is a great tip! I always end up bringing my Pip-Boy out while I am spamming B!

As a somewhat seasoned player, this has been an excellent video. I never knew about the quick scrolling through items with SHIFT/CTRL, and the CRIT tip is super useful and will save my spacebar! 😂

Thank you for those tips! I know its been years, but Bethesda please put magazines & comics in their own separate column. Having to scroll through all of them to find Disease Cure or something is annoying! They should have their own tab so we can check at a glance when we're at a player run vendor if they have one we're missing. And serums should be labeled as "Serum: ____ " or "Serum (_____)" like "Serum: Marsupial" or "Serum (Marsupial)" so we can see them easier as well.

Thanx for the info. Some of them I already knew, some were helpful, but some were so GOOD they're life changing (at least for me 😳) such as the terminal exit!

I play all the time and the amount of times I have forgotten to change my playset from build cards to my battle layout. I really wish they would let you equipt a clothing set specific for layouts to create a visual reminder to change your playset before leaving your base.b

Nice one, mate. I'm 1,500 hours in and didn't know three or four of these. Much appreciated! Also, you can instantly get out of those deep terminal menus (or instantly exit crafting benches) by just tapping the esc key. ;)

If you are not using your power armor and you're 10 or less weight above your limit, you can drop them. Since they're 10wt each chassis, regardless of contents, you can then fast travel somewhere like your camp or nuka-world. It will automatically collected to your inventory when you fast travel (or wait 1 minute, whichever happens first.)

I was today years old when I found out about the power armor hud option. Ty.

Great tips. A couple things I actually didn't know. One tip for people experiencing the fast travel bug... get rid of Healing factor mutation, that is what causes it.

I think its more to do with bloodied builds personally. I dont run healing factor and my full health toons generally don't have any issues but my bloodied builds are chronic for the ft bug

Great tips. Never knew about holding the back button to get out of terminal quickly, and the workshop where you just press the A (build) button for Xbox. Helps a lot when you can't find the workshop or far away from the workshop to claim.

I did know you can fast travel from inside but I still find myself going outside first...old habits die hard 🤣🤣🤣

I played 1,5k hours and just realised few days ago that i can change pip boy flashlight color when customize pip boy interface colors (i choose purple-pink color and get bright white flashlight)

0:56 Just a friendly note, there is a limit of 90 or so for custom item names. Also 6:40 i just found out that when you press both shift and control and then scroll, it speeds up even more. Thanks for this tips video!

I only recently learned about fixing my gear from the select wheel and knowing how much i use some of them, it honestly has made it that i don't need back up gear as often, thus removing unnecessary weight from my possession😅

its good in the field if you need to repair but if you have buffs to add more durability when you repair the repair kits do not do this so its best if you can to wait until you get to a work bench and use materials then if you have the perks it will give you more durability upon repairing compared to the normal 100% from using repair kits.

The transparent view of the Pipboy is called 'the Quickboy'. I always remember this for reasons unknown.

On PS4, zooming out in third person: hold the TouchPad, then pull down on R3. Also, to scroll through items a little bit faster, press up + push up on L3, or press down + pull down on L3

Secret service wont go under power armor fyi but if you have it equipped when you leave your PA it re-equips

daily ops fast travel is genius, i cant believe i never though of that.

If you get the fast travel glitch, pop off a couple rounds and reload, or with gat weapons, just run it up before it actually fires. This works for me 90% of the time (on XBOX at least)...

Marsupial, healing factor, and speed demon are, for me, essential!

The Daily Ops FT tip is news to me, 3500 h into playing

The last one is mostly good for triggering pvp. If you just can't find the station just toggle the claim workshop quest

First tip legit best tip don't use power armour cause of the HUD

I put armour backpack and high capacity backpack on my fav wheel

Another tip for my console people. If ur game is crashing way too often delete the saved data and game and reinstall. It should help a bit.

I see so many bloodied players without using brahmin milk for regulation your Rads and its so easy to get. I have my main camp in Flat woods where 9 brahmins are at one place and if you spam the button you get 4-5 Brahmin milk of each one, so you get easily 40 out what is more than enough. The old milk can be used to get Rads up, also u need it for Tato Salat and if youre a Carnivore you get almost all foodbuffs+ plants needed at Flat woods. Best place ever, but its mine so dont even try ;)
