Thanks for the updated info, @TYR. I'll just to use temporary buff then, since 25% less vat AP cost is just too hard for me to give up for 15% Faster Crit Fill. Still a nerf for my current commando build with 33 luck currently. Just have to learn to live with it.

Have they changed the bug where a crit is no longer a guaranteed hit? If not these changes are going to hit harder if u work to get 39 luck and still misses.

After nerfing melee again and shotguns by fixing tenderizer, now theyre nerfing crits all for the sake of balance. Yet the elephant in the room still hasnt been addressed. Did they buff legacies for a good healthy balanced experience?

Thanks for this, I have 2 builds and they are both vats crit, sometimes Fixers sometimes bows so I was pretty bummed out about the changes.This makes me feel better.

Thank you TYR, for the breakdown. It's much appreciated that you and others in the community took them to task for the previous Luck/Crit change. And thank you to the Devs for their willingness to listen to the community. IMHO this is a fair compromise. I also hope that explosive weapons being able to perform critical hits makes it to the live version of the game. *fingers crossed*

Welcome legend! Most of the credit goes to the data miners, they are always suggesting better ways things should happen. Devs are hearing them out lately which is great!

@@TYRYT Well I think you're probably being modest about your role, but humility is a great attribute that can carry you far in life. ;) And yeah, the data miners are awesome. I sometime don't feel the community gives them enough accolades. Anyway, thanks again and have a great weekend!

Also the perk Happy Go Lucky gives u +3 Luck while under the effects of alcohol. Sweetwater Tea w/ Herbivore and Party Girl/Boy gives +15 Perception so with the perk u can get a good combo.

This is perfect, this way its harder but atleast still possible to achieve without losing 25lvc. Great video!

Im new to paying attention to pts updates. Is this like beta testing and then released to game or is it just trying out things to see feedback or what ??

It’s a seperate version of the game to test features and changes before being released to the main game.

If you hit a crit every 3rd or 4th shot but have crit perk now at 100% instead of 40 isn’t it still a little buff then?

Hey man, I saw another vid you posted a while back about the 4:8:2000 error code. My account has apparently got banned when i did nothing at all to make it get banned. Help would be so so amazing ive spent so many hours and so much money on my account and i dont know what to do. I just want to play fallout 76.

Honestly since the alien update my sneaking has been broken, in west tek if I do more then two shots I’m caught instantly and everything swarms me

@@keithn455 I have been getting randomly 1 shot from mutants and kept getting 1 shot 4 times in a row. I have some really! Good perks and armor so it kinda fustrated me that I kept getting killed so easily

39 luck ain't too bad to keep the less vats cost this is a good change👍

Finally my crit builds having a reason to exist. Low or high health, crit builds can do serious damage.

I picked up a lot of quad 50 crit and 15refill weapons. People dont seem to appreciate this god roll. Although how messed up vats can be 50hit chance shouldn't be ignored in my humble opinion.

It is going to be difficult but not impossible to have 39 luck at all times. You just need 15 in you base stat full unyielding armor, 5 in legendary perks, shielded vault jumpsuit plus 2 of your unyielding armor with luck on them. On a side note Full Health Builds are screwed though...

Full health builds are literally unaffected from this. Full health builds have only ever needed to get to 27 luck and use the crit fill effect. That’s still the go to for full health players. Getting to 33 luck much less 39 luck as a full health player is not advisable

Why !why can't they fix fast FK N travel?

This is a good change, 39 luck should be easily achievable! 😁

If they plan on going through with this they need to Nerf the end game bosses to reflect This change too

Bethesda, please do Blue Screens next. Please fix the constant blue screens, they are sucking my will to live.

What you mean? i haven't had any blue screens while playing, few crashes here and there but not blue screens. maybe ur console/pc is running too hot and its shutting itself down?

@@HuiHaiZ Its a real problem for many PS4 users. I know what a blue screen is and its not when your ps4 overheats, which mine isn't doing.

@@Silversmith70 Okay, my bad, well its fallout and bethesda so you cant count anything out lol. But to be serious i know that BSoD can happen 1. if theres error in files (maybe try reinstall?) 2. Overheat, dust etc in fans/in case (well you stated that isn't the case but maybe try clean it still to be sure) 3. Some problems with game (well this is probably the issue and theres little to do) 4. Hardware problem which can be causing it too. And probably for multiple other reasons. Did little googling and found out that ps4 blue screens seems to be pretty common on multiple games. Well i hope you find you fix anyway!

@@TYRYT it s still BS, being among the few full hp builds, now I have to get to 27 luck, which is hard to achieve, at least harder than 39 for uny players At this point they should just have left things the way they were... Cause at this point they are really pushing ppl into low hp builds

@@piselloniomarco3583 this actually changes nothing for full health builds dude, 27 luck is under 30 and the soft cap only activates at 30, so the crit every second shot meta is literally unchanged for full health builds Adding onto that, who cares lmao. Give low health a shot, if you can handle it you’ll love it. No need to complain about it

I've been low hp back then when it was not popular .. It's not fun not to be able to do many simple tasks, I play with bloodied guys., they keep always have troubles

Always has been hard, but it’s not changed. So this update doesn’t affect full health in anyway like you said bruz

“Devs” = fun police/hall monitors. This is really taking the piss. Why make excuses for them? Make other builds viable and stop nerfing. But they just can’t help themselves.

@@TYRYT Both can be true at once, but placing them above reproach like that could be used to justify literally any and all garbage behavior or predatory practices from the “AAA” industry.

Of all the broken, buggy things that are wrong in this game.... Why go and screw around with stuff that is not broken or not really affecting gameplay. It's like they are purposely trying to break this already broken game over and over. The thought process behind this doesn't make sense at all. Focus on the actual bugs that affect actual gameplay that the day 1 players have been begging to get fixed since the beginning. How about fixing the broken, buggy trade system... Huh... Nah just go ahead and muck around with nerfing vats, perks, mutations, weps, and armor. Yeah that makes sense. 🤙
