And this is why people should have watched the end credits for this show. It literally tells you that.

This series isn't merely the family drama. The Ghoul searching for his daughter, Hank's daughter searching for him, Maximus searching for _any_ family. This show is a flagrant and serious allegory for our current situation. Few reactors acknowledge, or even see, this. But it _IS_ the point...

Apparently the ADR voice is Todd Howard for that ghoul.

Did you noticed when Lucy said Okey-dokey in the end was way darker than the other times she said it. This was her transformation from a person who followed the golden rule to a wastelander. The Ghoul was partially right at this point. He is/was her. Cooper had his own morals and beliefs. He was a patriot who went to war for his country. He agreed to do the Vault-Tec ads because he loved Barb. He loved Barb because he believed in her and thought she would do the right thing. Then he found out about the truth. He was betrayed by his government, Hollywood, Vault-Tec; and worse of all Barb betrayed him. The Ghoul have an end game and maybe, just maybe, Lucy will kill him before he goes feral and loot his body, especially his hat and guns like a real Fallout player.

I’d disagree about the part where you imply she’s given up on the golden rule. I don’t see evidence of that, and I certainly hope that doesn’t ever happen. If you think about it, it’s the one and only thing that can ever stop the madness that always leads people to destroy each other. She’s less trusting, for sure, and knows to expect that others aren’t as noble as she is, but I hope she continues to lead by example. If not, where does any hope come from?

Glad you loved the show, it's one of the best-written ones I've seen. So much foreshadowing in earlier episodes if you go back and watch. And lots of implications for the future. Remember, Cooper's wife was getting orders to share the Vaults from....someone. More going on than meets the eye. Remember, Max thinks Lucy's father took her back to Vault 33. Chances are that's the direction he'll focus in Season 2

I expect a character arc from Barb ... No dogs in the vault is what started Coop on this journey... When the bombs went off he saved daughter and mother and then went back for Roosevelt.

This show did a great job of capturing the atmosphere and style of the games. If you are a gamer, I would suggest trying any of the games.

Can you believe there are some gamers who rip the series because it's not 100% lore compliant? I'm a gamer, and this is the best game-to-screen adaptation I've ever seen! I just hope they keep the writing good, including the series finale . . .

"They did experiments in all the vaults?" Play the lore game. The experiments they mention in the show are tame in comparison to what others are.

Not a spoiler, but that is New Vegas, not Seattle. It was written on a sign. You probably missed it.

that's not Seattle, there is no way he walked that far. Its New Vegas, the remains of Los Vegas. The fans of the games all freaked out at that reveal because it was the setting of the game Fallout: New Vegas

After so many years of the Brotherhood and the NCR fighting.. It went from passion, to bitterness as the Brotherhood radicalized and the NCR crumbled. For the first time, it scares me what the Brotherhood will do with unlimited power. I've been a part of that universe for a long time, and i've always been loyal to the Brotherhood of Steel, until this show. Those religious zealots are not my superiors anymore, Outcasts unite! EDIT: Also, the code, is the date the original Fallout 1 came out, October 10, 1997. I was 2 months old when it first came out. Can't wait to see you play moar! :3

Only the fallout 3 brotherhood could be described as the "good guys". They are very morally gray in 1, 2, New Vegas, and 4. In 4 they learn more evil than good. In 2 they also lean more evil IMO.

"Just surviving is a noble cause". Remember, we are all, each and every one of us, the inheritors of a life bought for us by our ancestors, who were survivors. They dreamed of a time when things would be better, and hoped it for their children, but never saw it for themselves. We are in no position to judge them, when it was their willingness to keep going despite the fact that there are no happy endings in the wasteland, that made our lives possible.
