I am now 47 and I have battled myself everyday to not give up. I spend so much time in the mirror begging myself to keep going. It gets harder when you no longer fear death but welcome it to free the mind of the pain and the rage. To see there are people who actually care about those that are suffering makes me think maybe one day the world can change. Thank you for your reaction. 🖤🖤

When Papa Roach sang this in the early 2000s, people really didn't pay much attention to the lyrics. It was set to a driving beat and Jacoby's vocals were more aggressive and angry. Ronnie makes you feel every word, you hear the desperation, sadness, anger and hopelessness and the musical arrangement adds to it. I have watched this video hundreds of times and each time I tear up, that is the power of music and Ronnie's voice

I heard an interview that Jacoby did and he said he asked Ronnie Radke to cover this song for the anniversary of last resort I thought that was really cool .

Ronnie's vision for this particular song was absolutely spot on and touches anyone who has faced dark times and paints a picture of the desparity, from the effected person perspective

Your silence said it all! When Papa Roach cam out with thisit was full of angnst and anger. This reimagnged version has so much emotion and true pain that you can feel.Ronnie played a sample of the song for Shadox from Papa Roach before he released it. Shadox loved it.Ronnie is pure genius!

This can't be even called a cover, Ronnie reimagined this song in such a masterful way, he completely made it his own. Speaking of the topic, you may not know that Sabaton also has a song with the same topic, it's called Hammer Has Fallen. It's a song from Metalizer, their only non-historical album and it's one of my favourite Sabaton songs. I really recommend live version, it's even more powerful than the one from the album.

The silence after the video speaks volumes. Sometimes silence is necessary. Listening to songs like this just isn’t easy but they are out there and people hurt and others are lost just watching it all never knowing what to do or say. I understand the silence. I sit in it way to many times. Thanks for the play thanks for the find Amy. Hope you are all blessed. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Very powerful. This is a cover of a Papa Roach song, which sounds WAAAAYY different. Didn’t expect to see Falling in Reverse on this channel, but I am very happy to see it. A very interesting band. They can get pretty heavy musically, as well. Their videos and production quality are always very good. I do believe it’s your purpose SueSue, amongst many things.

Mostly what happens when somebody feels this way they it's drawn and by not feeling accomplished by anything not feeling worse than you say not feeling like you're worth being alive so when somebody tells you that you're doing fine and you're doing great and you're doing a good job then that can help you feel more worth something

This is a rabbithole you should go down. So many of their songs deal with mental health. Ronnie(singer) is very open about his issues. Yes his mother abandoned him when was a baby because of her addiction. A good start is Popular Monster

This version made the song lyrics stand out so much more and makes it so emotional. Both Jacoby and Ronnie has strong connections with this song. Jacoby wrote the song after a roommate of his tried to commit suicide, and Ronnie did lose his mom when he was very young, she was a drug addict and abandoned him and his brother.

Oye, so sorry I forgot to warn you how heavy this was. I never liked the original, but I keep running into this version, and I really liked the vocal power matching the music...absolutely fueled by angst and pain. I'm not a FIR fan, but when I saw this I thought the singer looked Native American, so I gave it a chance. Turns out he does have some NDN blood... but super powerful performance!

I recently came across this song by Falling In Reverse, and I hadn't heard Papa Roach's original before that. I could immediately relate to the song for reasons you now are aware of. I wished it was just for the music and maybe the production value of the video, but there I was, confronted with a topic that's been on my mind ever since I lost my mom early last year. Because it touched me so deeply, as it does you (and I know why), I felt the need, if you will, to get it up on my own channel. So, that's what I did and people can watch the full video there if they like. Loved the way you reacted to this! Blessings to you, guys! ~Mike H. For those interested in watching the original video, it's on my channel, called Music From The Heart: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nYmEudqRn9TUk5c.html

I don't think you've reacted to anything by Korpiklaani yet. It's a really cool Finnish folk metal band. Perhaps their "Pilli On Pajusta Tehty (official video)" would be a good one to start with. They do also have songs in English, but many seem to think (and I kind of agree) that they sound better in Finnish (even if you don't understand the words).
