I can't believe the 1st time hearing this cover is on your channel which ive never watched before. 😅😊 I never imagined liking a cover of this song but Falling in Reverse really brought the emotion to the next level here. I can't even listen to the original because ive heard it so many times. 😂 Great reaction vid!

I love this remained version of Last Resort. You should watch the original. It was Papa Roach who wrote those words and it became their 1st #1 hit. Ronnie Radke (singer of Falling in Reverse) personally asked to do this cover specifically to bring out the emotion in a different way. Less rage, more sorrow. He showed it to Jacoby Shaddix (Lead Singer of Papa Roach) before it ever came out for his approval.

There is only a small handful of songs that really hit, and the realization of the lyrics almost destroys from the inside. This is one of those songs. I was almost not here in January of last year, and I was quite literally saved by my own self-awareness and my family. Been dropped on my head mentally for so many years but trust me, all of it is temporary. I am building myself back up, and I just hope that this reaches those who have been where I have. Your power is your own, but please do not give up. You have people that love you. Keep your chin up and everything will be okay. 🙂

Wonderful reaction to this version by Ronnie! Thank you Jacoby for writing ✍️ this powerful song about the state of someone thinking about suicide. He wrote this about his roommate at the time. Please react to the original by Papa Roach, it’s a fast pace song 🎶 but reached millions and Ronnie asked and got Jacoby’s permission to reimagine this song and Ronnie has paid a lot of respect to the lyrics of this song and done a beautiful job with his interpretation and now the song Jacoby wrote can reach millions more. Could you reach to the video of Ronnie having Jacoby listening to it for the first time, Ronnie was nerve showing Jacoby and Jacoby was loving what Ronnie did with it. Slowing the song down and turning it into a ballad can really let someone dive into the lyrics and make you listen to the words and Ronnie has a incredible emoting voice that can really bring out the emotion and depth of the lyrics Jacoby wrote all the years ago.

Ronnie Radke uses his music as emotional therapy, and he's said more than once that his wife and daughter are his anchors to his sanity. Your reaction to this video was almost identical to my own, the sheer anguish that Ronnie can put into his voice speaks louder than the actual words.

Thank you for such a beautiful reaction 💞 FIR is one of those bands that can perfectly describe the torment inside oneself. Take a listen to the original version by papa roach. Same lyrics but not as emotional because of the music! FIR has a song called popular monster that I really connect with as well. Different vibe but the lyrics are just as deep

As a couple of people mentioned this song was originally done by Papa Roach back in 2000. The original was more uptempo more rock based very angsty and angry sounding. I saw someone's review that summed it perfectly Papa Roach's version is better suited for the angry teenager, while FIR's version is for us older people who have battled feelings like this for so long we're just tired. If you haven't checked them out beyond this I will say FIR has an uncanny way of scratching everyone's itch in terms of style of music...and sometimes they can do it in one 3 1/2 minute song.

Ronnie puts the EXACT sound to really “not being fine” and needing to hear “I’m fine” at 6:31. It’s incredible. This song stopped me in my tracks when I first heard it. I still listen to it all of the time and in a weird way I feel better after. The first 10 times I think I cried but then it turned into being helpful. It was playing in my head and wakes me up all of the time. ❤

When you start watching Ronnie from FIR do his genre of music, everything he sings has meaning and he sings with emotion. Try Popular Monster, Drug in me is you (re-imagined), I am not a vampire (revamped) - his songs have something for everyone and you feel them.

It is a moving cover of a song that usually emoted rage in me as a kid. Jacoby did a great job writing the lyrics and Ronnie’s cover is fantastic. I do suggest checking out 45 by Shinedown. Similar themes, so be warned, but it’s about one of the band member’s struggles (fantastic lyrics, musicianship, instruments, and the vocals are just fantastic).

Thank you for such a real reaction. From personal experience i can say 100% that this song and the video is exactly it feels like to reach that point. 16 years ago, this was where i was, and it has taken years to get to the point where i can actually talk about it properly. Most people who experience the same hide it so well that when it actually happens it comes as a shock. We need to be more vocal and honest about our experiences in the hope we can save even one person from doing this.

This is a cover. Ronnie Radke makes this his own with the emotion it deserves. While the singer was a troubled youth he is happily married and has a child. He is very opinionated though and has the tendency to piss off all the right ppl😂, which in my book is a ok!
