if you have never heard of Ronnie radke, you are literally missing out on SO MUCH creativity, vision, depth, pushing the very fabric of what everything is and how people know one version, but then Ronnie comes in and just... just...implodes and explodes my mind.. LISTEN , FEEL, everything he's been through. His journey, his fall, his recovery, redemption, and now just up. I've listened to this reimagined SO MANY times since it's release, and EVERYTIME i just bawl my eyes out. Just I lose it.

Listened to this song as a teen. Listening to the Ronnie sing this as and adult hit me to my core. Tears and chills. Its hauntingly beautiful. Keep pushing. We will be fine.

Yea it’s crazy how much this version cut deeper then the papa roach!

The song he did before this was " watch the world burn " and at the end the world is burning and its so amazing that at the end of this one he goes back to that and the world is being repaired . Ronnie is a absolute genius.

So in my opinion the original is a teenager that is angry at the world. And FIR's version is more of the adult screaming for help from the world. Great cover!!!!

The way Ronnie Radke puts so much pain and emotion into this song it makes the lyrics stand out, like i've heard this original song a million times and fukin loved it but here I actually HEAR the lyrics the words and it makes me FEEL so much, every time I listen to this song now by Ronnie I cry, I feel more and more each time. Ronnie Radke in MY opinion is one of the most talented men ive bout ever heard, and coming from where he has come from and gone through what he has gone through and been attacked by so many people and been a heavy drug user, been in prison and to not only been through ALL that but to actually rise up and shine as bright as a star could ever shine is just amazing to me!

Falling in Reverse is a unique genre defying band and Ronnie is a musical genius. You NEVER know exactly what you are going to get from them except perfection. They are an original band and have years of music!

The lyrics hit harder it's crazy there's a video of Ronnie showing Jacoby this song and he's super nervous and shaking it's humbling but Ronnie is already very humble it's sweet how nervous he is showing his reimagined work of this song to him

This young man comes very close to Chester Bennington with his Scream. As with Chester, you can feel the pain in his scream. LP should get him and work with him. He sings like an angel and screams like the devil. Just great 🖤🎧 Just like him, you feel the pain because he transports it authentically. Just great, can't get enough. I think he would be a worthy successor to Chester and could revive LP. Nobody can replace Chester, but this young man is damn close. He gave me goosebumps like only Chester could.

Great comparison of the 2! Ronnie says he’s flattered by the comparison but there will never be ANYONE as good as Chester! And could never or wouldn’t want to try filling his shoes. However a super colab would be AHHMMAZZING Ronnie & Mike would tear the hell out of some writing & singing! He is getting Chaz’s silent scream down pat this is almost as heartbreaking as the one more light one! I still miss him so much😢!

The very first song I ever listened to from Falling in Reverse was Popular Monster. Yes, it’s more current than their other songs but it’s what literally what woke me up

I have a feeling that Ronnie connects with this song too.. especially with his mother. .. shes not dead but almost dead to Ronnie due to her being addicted and never recovered and he had that torture scream around that line of the song 💔😢

Actually he made up with his mother he forgave her for abandoning him. They don't really have a close relationship but that chapter is closed he's past it

31 here and I felt the same way grew up loving song and now I feel it's perfect cause I have a version for anymood

"You just have to be fine, there is no other option" I went through a crisis last year. A bad one. And I reached that brink where I just couldn't go on. And I had a moment where I looked at my parents And I said to myself "No failure is not an option. Giving up is not an option" and I made it. I fought and clawed myself back to health. It took months. And my crumbling mind put itself back together. I pulled back from the brink. This song speaks to that journey, that sadness, that fear, that longing for something ANYTHING to hold on to. ❤ Y'all's reaction was so good

Papa Roach’s version delivers the anger in the song . Ronnie’s re-imagined delivers the pain of the song . Just my opinion. Both versions are honest from each artist. I think Ronnie is brilliant I’m glad he seems to have found his path and surrounded himself with some great people ❤

Ronnie "Reimagined" exactly what this song, in its original form, meant, and did, for some of us back 20+ years ago and since..... Long story given short..... the same year it came out, i spent a few hours sitting on the edge of my bed as a teenager while going though a major medical issue, fighting a silent battle in my mind with "Last Resort" playing on repeat..... 5:02 - 5:44 "I cant go on, living this way" was quite literally the 'battle' i fought there that night. Simply being 'tired of fighting' the medical issue i was dealing with. With nothing but myself, Last Resort, and a 8in hunting knife i was slowly spinning between my hands, while my parents were asleep at the other end of the house. 5:41+ is what this song helped me to do.. Claw my way back, and build myself back up.

Ronnie is untouchable. He's really turned himself around for the better I've been a fan for years and his voice has really improved over the years

Being a parent I felt that, you just have to be fine, there’s no other option. I have several chronic illnesses and I’ve had a liver transplant, almost 5 years post op. There have been so many times I’ve wanted to give up to just stop fighting, because some days are so hard, but I can’t give up, I can’t stop fighting. Because I’m not just fighting for myself but my kids. I see this song in such a different light now. The original felt more angry with yourself and with this one it’s more that you are sad and broken with this version. I love Ronnie man! ❤️❤️‍🩹

The end of this is tied in to Watch The World Burn, Papa Roach's version was anger and a lot of us needed the anger back then. This hit more emotional and goes deep. Thanks for not talking through it.

Ronnie's version is what " I " was hearing, even with the faster, angrier, original one from Papa Roach. spent a few hours sitting on the corner of my bed alone with a 8in hunting knife being spun between my hands with the original one playing on repeat almost like a lifeline as i was dealing with a major medial issue as a teen. That song kept things from going beyond me simply spinning the knife between my hands... and helped me gather up my shattered willpower to face what i was going through without backing down all the way (and rekindled my stubbornness to not go down without a fight.)

It's so crazy how he can take a song. Use the same exact lyrics, change the melody and tone of the way he's singing it, and it becomes so damn much more powerful.❤

To me the songs represent different stages of grief... Original - anxiety/anger/bitterness. To me, this version is despair/heartache/paranoia. 4:20 It is funny you mention that. I’ve never caught the lyrics in the way Ronnie conveyed his rendition. The emotion that he pulled out of this already awesome song just hits me in a different way. Depression hits us all. Great reaction guys. Side note: my wife did a picture for me like you guys have on the wall. 😂

From what you guys said this being the first time you've heard falling in reverse on your channel. I don't know if you're aware but, Ronnie has been known for telling stories throughout multiple song/video combinations. Cinematically this song is likely the conclusion story to their new single Watch the World Burn. I'm still expecting another song/story to be released or if it may have already been. But yea the way that Ronnie has reimagined this particular song definitely hits much differently than the original track

Expressing suffering is one of the hardest things to do. Some just don't let it in. I think if you acknowledge these feelings, even if it really hurts, is so healing. Locking them away is allowing them to fester and grow into a monster that will slowly consume your very essence. Face it, deal with it and find your joy again. Its waiting for you. ❤

Don't diss on assisted suicide. There is a difference between killing yourself because you're depressed and choosing your time to die with dignity when you're terminally I'll. My brother in law decided to move to Switzerland after being diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer. He wanted to die with dignity on his on time, but sadly passed away in a nap. His husband, "my brother," was so grieved because they had planned to hold each other's hands as he transitioned.

The one thing I got off of the collapsing buildings and then later on the building's rebuilding themselves is when were in isolation we break down we lose control we are venerable then as we have to go back into either Society or a job or something we would have to put ourself back together to hide our demons so I loved ones don't see our cracks and crevices that are slowly getting bigger and more noticeable

I hope in a “good way” I have been to the breaking point more times than I care to admit. From my experience These breaking points will continue to come, and it will continue to feel like you are going to crumble. Life is so difficult and there are so many factors to what you carry everyday that nobody sees or will ever understand. Regardless of all that I know that everyone of us, that you are strong enough to carry it! I was once told “Nothing worth doing is ever easy.” Life is never easy and yet we continue to suffer through it, beautifully. Our suffering is what builds our compassion. Maybe I sound like a sadist, but I would not trade my pain in for anything because it has allowed me to truly and deeply Love. If you even need a place to talk, some random not involved 3rd party we always have a discord where you could PM either of us or just chat with the community ❤

i do feel that we do need assisted end of life, because I for example have been wanting to give up since i was around 11 years old, I am now 36 and still just want to give up, I drag my feet through life because i dont want to be here or be part of it, and while yes i could go for therapy and pay into the system for the rest of my life doped up on medications feeling empty, its not really an easy situation when your own mind and even your soul just has had enough, but i do feel that it shouldnt be something nurses or doctors be proud of when they do that though, it should be more " these people have suffered in one way or another and found it impossible or too difficult to find a way out to save themselves, as such we are able to end that pain in a humane and respectful, dignified way" at least thats how i see it, it should never be romanticised and if the canadian government allow it to be that way, then shame on them.

There are 2 more of these more orchestral songs they have done of original material. What covers regards it's only a Coop with Coolio rip on Gangstas paradise from the album punk goes 90's. That is not a ballad to say the least. If you want to go down the rabbit hole I suggest you start with Popular Monster (2018) because all never videos kinda ties into each other.

I went into a pretty dark place when I lost my mom in 2018 and was praying for god not to wake me up. All i was thinkinh sbout was suicide. people would look at me crazy when I told them that this song actually helped me process my feelings and get me back

I dont think Ronnie 'added' any lyrics to the song per-see.... the line "I cant go on, living this way" i believe was only said 'once' at the end of the original Last Resort, and Ronnie turned it into a refrain, but that i think is all he really supper 'changed'.

Lot of folks just need to be told they are fine and it’s gonna be ok.
