The opening scenes to the sixth season finale: S6EP28
Melissa was about to catch the plane until Dan catches up to her and confronts her about having Maggie’s baby. Dan tries to convince Melissa to give herself up, but no avail. Meanwhile, Chase got the ball rolling on the search for Melissa and the baby in order to stop her from escaping. Richard fires Meredith for her failure to stop Kit Marlowe. Meredith leaves Richard for good. Maggie tells Richard that Melissa took Kevin to get back at her and Chase out of revenge. Richard offers to help.
