The authentic one could show up with minor differences from the one online, 1st editions.. 2nd editions.. prototypes.. regional differences.

It's not about whether the bag is fake or real. It's about how you feel when you wear or use the bag. If it satisfies you, then it serves its purpose. Just don't go inside LV stores wearing it. :)

I wish I’m like others who can settle for replicas. Mentally it bugs me. Makes me feel like I’m being pretentious. I’d rather buy something that I can afford like a Coach bag or a Tumi bag. They’re not cheap, but they’re like a fifth the price of an LV bag. Tumi’s are actually more sturdy in my opinion. But I wouldn’t mind owning one or two LV bags. The real one. I could actually afford it, but every time I think about the price, I always think about many other things I could buy instead of just one bag, hahahaha. Like that one day that I almost bought an LV bag and changed my mind the very last minute and ended up buying two adidas shoes, one tumi bag, a couple of shirts and pants at Zara, and still ended up spending just half of the money I would’ve spent if I bought an LV bag 😂

Besides the zippers, this is just as good. The canvas is cheap on both. LV actually has a business model of cheap goods sold at high prices and they are RAKING it in. Plus they keep making limited edition models and making them exclusive to certain regions and it drives up demand. I didn't mention this in the video but I worked at a LV store and after the customers left some sales staff would be like "I can't believe they just spent that much money." Like $400 for a keychain? What?!? Tumi is at least a fairer markup and good quality as well. Personally I just buy Samsonite for my backpacks. I want light and durable.

Did you think that some people like the actual design and patterns but don’t want to spend $2,000. Maybe they are not buying the bag to look like they have money. I personally just love the damier pattern. It’s so simple, yet different and catches the eye.

I'd prefer people to just say 'oh that's a nice bag' instead of 'oh that's an LV' and then the questions that would follow such as 'how'd you afford that? Did you pay $2000 for that?' etc. As a man's bag, it's less likely that people would even know its an LV.

Inaworldoflove and I prefer for those same people that say “oh that’s a nice bag” to be able to get that bag if there is a cheaper version with a very minute difference that you would have to really walk up on and examine, and them get the bag and be happy. What is the big deal? You are talking about zippers that are smaller than an inch....that bag is going to be on someone that is on the go, someone would really have to go out of their way to catch up with the person and ask to examine their zipper to confirm the authenticity of that bag....and even then at that point, what is that going to accomplish. You know what made me upset was the fact that I paid $500+ for a LV belt and seen someone with a perfect replica and only paid $70 for the belt....in my head I wish I would’ve known about the replica because 9/10 it is the same material and B+ workmanship opposes to the A+ workmanship and the flawlessness of the LV. Why is it anyone’s business what someone did to earn their LV bag....mind your business not mine. If bill gates had a fake LV bag no one would even bother to try and decipher it was real or fake because you would believe because he has billions of dollars then it has to be real.

Some other differences that I noticed is the lining on the interior looks like a nylon material, the interior badge should be higher up, and the stitching/pattern of the outer pocket is off. By off, I mean it should end at the top of the squares not through the top 3rd of them. Check out 3:52 on the stitching at the top. And lastly, 5:09 they don't cut off the logoed square with the flap. The full square is exposed just right under.

The real ones are made in sweatshops as well, so why should it matter..?

So the differences are the zips the material patch and the shape that's it??

Yeah basically. The material is near perfect because it’s not an expensive material at all. The zippers are big and dangle and bounce on the real one so they stand out. Then that little patch under the zipper is just a small difference. I like the shape better on my copy. I’ve tried the real one on in store a few times.

lol, yeah, he covered that in the first minute or so, and then I waited for the next 5 mins or so for him to get to the next flaw and he seemed to just be riffing and forgetting what he was actually talking about, and I noticed there was another 5 minutes left so started skipping ahead, and he basically just sort of aimlessly talks for the rest, fumbling one handed, trying to get his phone to focus, or find something on his comp. I saw dhgate and can see that they look different. I would contact the seller and ask if they have the damier pattern. Sometimes sellers hide the appearance of the bag die to copyright. All dhgate watches hide the brand but arrive with the brand on the watch. So I would ask a seller.

On DHgate. Search 'avenue sling bag'. They hide the pattern because you're not allowed to display anything that reveals it's a replica. It will look like an all black bag. Good luck!

i got a real LV black avenue sling bag at my local pawn shop for 1,550$ because they looked at the grey one on the website not noticing the black one is 1000$ more look around at your pawn shops i’m sure you can find a real bag at a great price! it’s not worth spending a lot of money on a fake bag.

On DHgate. The sellers are not allowed to show the damier pattern so they Photoshop the image to hide that it is a Louis Vuitton replica. Some call it plaid pattern. Just search Avenue sling bag. It should look all black.

Who goes around staring at another person’s bag that hard to see if it’s fake?? And if so for what reason? It’s not your bag and you didn’t spend the money on it. If you have to go around looking at the small details like that to see if it’s fake then that is a great replica.

When you open the top zipper, there is a pocket inside. It is usually inside that pocket, on the side.

Yes I noticed what he was saying in regards to the zippers. The LV zipper buckle things are smaller and slightly shaped different, the leather patch by the zipper is on the real ones, when he opened the bag the logo patch on the inside of the bag is to far down and zipper does not glide smoothly. I have the real one sitting on my lap as I type BUT other than that I wouldn't be able to tell if I am honest.

But I think once people are use to seeing a person with different designer items most of their lives they will just know its not fake if that makes sense.......

I just bought a avenue sling replica and its actually pretty good, the zippers are oversized and everything but the thing that is annoying me the most is the shape of the bag, its like 1 square is missing from the top layer and its making it look smaller when not worn and the triangle thing on top with the button are the only differences to be noticed

I'm a fan of replicas, but some things should not be attempted.. Beautiful bag but spend the money for a genuine one and you will appreciate it more.

I absolutely hate fake luxury items. It makes me so angry. Why to buy fake??? Buy Nike if you can't afford the real one. You just look dumb having a fake one... usually you can tell from 5 miles that someone has something fake.

@@noncontrollable canvas is what paintings are painted on. Cheap. They then coat it with plastic. Very easy to replicate. I got this because it was perfect to carry my ipad in.
