FAKE? OR Fully-Handmade ZiSha? Tutorial 1, one common fake pot ~$100. 全手工?机车?灌浆?Read below as well

*Dear Friends :-D,
Kindly NOTE that, the absence or presence of ANY of the parameters, is not entirely 100%. For example, the Artist or Craftsman may wish to ADD a bit more clay to REFINE the outside area around the circumferential ManPian 满片 or DiPian 底片 seams, and thus smearing off the presence of these natural Man Pian/Di Pian seams. * Also, these ManPian and DiPian seams are often FAKED on by non-Fully-Handmade pots (jigger-machined, slip-casted pots): the factory boss nowadays, often INSTRUCT his workers to swivel a tool and cut a line to FAKE the ManPian/DiPian seams. NOT ONLY THAT, the factor bosses have recently have new MOLDS that INHERENTLY have a seam on the top circumference and bottom circumference so that the jigger-machined pot that pops out of it, will HAVE FAKE MANPIAN AND DIPIAN SEAMS!
~~~~~~~~~~
🎋🎋🎋
Dear Friends :-), we learn how to decipher a pot: is it really Handmade? and is it even made of ZiSha? Still, note carefully that:
1) The presence of a rear vertical adjoining seam does not 100% mean it is a Fully-Handmade pot,
2) The presence of an inner top JAGGED edge does not 100% mean it is a Fully-Handmade pot.
BECAUSE IN HIGH IMITATION POTS, THEY CAN STILL BE FAKED ON.
NOTE THAT We as ZiSha consumers/collectors, must still LOOK AT ALL THAT A POT PRESENTS WITH, IN ORDER TO MAKE A FINAL DECISION AS TO WHETHER IT IS, OR IT IS NOT, A FULLY-HANDMADE ZISHA POT.
We cannot rest on one single indicator to make our decision.
We must look at the pot as a whole, at ALL THE INDICATORS AND FEATURES TO MAKE A FINAL JUDGEMENT/DECISION.
For this episode, we walk through one pot donated by a friend who bought from a retailer in Hong Kong. The retailer told him it is a Handmade pot, but it is a machined pot.
We will go through many parameters.
Thank you for your patience my friends!
:-D
May you always enjoy your tea and ZiSha.
    🌿🍵🎋 Dear Sir/Madam, I feel heartened that you appreciate the efforts behind the scenes. I sincerely also wish to emphasise also, that all the absence or presence of each indicator/parameter/signs, is not entire proof of whether a pot is authentic Fully-Handmade vs the ubiquitous jigger-machined pot. 🌻🌻🌻 As written on our website realzisha.com, I also mentioned (which you can scroll and read on our first page), that, Xing Ti 形体 is usually the giveaway. With experienced people, one does not even need to hold and feel the pot, and not even need to open the lid and look within the lid. We can see just by looking at a pot 1 meter away: we can tell by observing the coherency, curves, form, proportions. Yes: just by observing. In fact, in YiXing shops where many, many shops sell counterfeits and non-zisha pots, these counterfeits shop owners will secretly laugh within, if a walk-in customer comes into the shop -> approach a pot->and then touch and lift up the pot and open the lid to inspect within: this sign is the sure sign for the shop owner that he can go up to this walk-in customer and dupe him by various stories into believing that the pot is an "authentic Fully-Handmade ZiSha pot". A Fully-Handmade ZiSha pot has the 形体 Xing Tin, form, shape, that will be the clue as to whether a ZiSha Work is truly Fully-Handmade or not. 🌿🌿🍵🍵🍵🍵 Most of the so-called "Fully-Handmade" indicators can be faked on. This fake industry is huge. There are multiple factories and operations making such fake pots which are jigger-machined and not made from ZiSha at all. There are streets and streets, and buildings and buildings of shops selling such counterfeits. I will also come up with a video soon when we went undercover to unravel such fake operations. The video was done at great danger. 🎋🎋🎋 We only wish to preserve this precious Fully-Handmade ZiSha Art. Gratefully yours, ~ ian🌞
    Dear Buddy, most ZiSha would have tie rong dian, and it also depends on how the ore is processed into bricks of clay. After weathering down the ore, they will be crushed into very fine particles and then water added to form up into the clay-form, and stored. Before adding the water, such fine particles may be subjected to strong electromagnetic force (after weathering and grinding down into fine partcies) and thus sucking up/out such iron rich particles, with the resultant zisha clay lacking iron, tie rong dian. And, there is an industry getting people to write fake certificates easily for fake pots. Thank you immensely for your common interest my friend🌿🤗🎋
    Dear Buddy in tea culture🌿🌿🌿🎋🌿🍵🍵🌞🍵🫶🎋 everybody goes through the same process to get to the proper correct ecosphere. Don't worry, this proper ecosphere is not exclusive, and it doesn't mean one must spend above $1000 to be in. Even our 18 year old students who each bought a $182 Fang Gu or $173 Lian Zi from us, are already in this proper, authentic and high integrity ecosphere. He or she can steep tea in these pots for a Grand Master Shao and not only is he or she not out of place, Grand Master Shao will happily drink with him or her the tea served and give the 100% nod of respect.
    @@thezishateapotchannel.1675 I love this tea world! I have been drinking tea for almost 15 years already in Ukraine. My favourite tea is Gu Shu Sheng Puer. I have some understanding in tea but still dont have enough experience in Yixing teapots. Very happy to finally find the right place with proper pots. Can i send you few pictures of pots I have already bought? I payed 500$ for one of them and after your video I am not sure if it is handmade and actually proper. Inside it has brush lines little bit higher than pots that you show on video.
    Dear Timothy, I know what pot you are holding actually. I hesitated for ten hours before replying you. I am sorry, you may want to reconsider your pot. I can simply say that proper Fully-Handmade ZiSha Artists and Craftsmen do not craft these types of pots. For the sake of civility, I need to refrain from more words being said about your pot. I apologise.🙏🌿🎋
