Damn I just found this channel and the energy, the way he explains things and the detective work he does for a 17 yo is amazing. Well earned sub

'Blue' joined a few of my live streams a while back. Got to talk to him and he sounded like a genuinly nice person in chat. Asked him about the comments and he said he meant no harm and had a team or people commenting day and night to grow these channels. Great to hear the real story as I thought it was sus. Thank you for posting this and spreading awareness, I’ve seen those accounts and how much content they spam repost and steal. I’ve seen multiple friends and influencers get their content stolen and reposted on those mrbeast accounts

The same guy messaged me trying to do the same scam he did to Minecraft player, I have tons of screenshots if you want but it seems you've busted this scam wide open, good job! I was planning on doing this myself but with my dwindling view count it's much better you've done this, good job and just thank you so much!

i wonder if he even got a silver play button because youtube usually doesn't award it to people whose sole brand is to comment everywhere or just not have videos. However since these accounts were hacked, he couldve gone to youtube and asked for another code to purchase another play button before the channel was changed to the commenting madness it is now

You took this opportunity not to expose a scammer, but to educate people on the manipulative and harmful trends of social media that pushes a 15 year old to do this in the first place. Blaming social media for such a thing is reasonable, however I am 15 and I understand the limits of what is legal. His parents should face consequences for allowing this, and Scythe should at least apologise.

And to think that they’re posting the same videos over and over again which those videos aren’t even theirs. I’m REALLY hoping theres a way out of this mess, it’s going too far. I don't understand why people do this because if you have a bunch of fake subscribers on your channel, The only person you're lying to is yourself. If you hacked someone's channel, You're just piggybacking off someone's else's success, Not your own.. So in the end, You are still worthless, And the desperation to do something like that only confirms it. You stole someone else's fame because you couldn't make your own. I don't know how someone could feel a sense of success or achievement doing that.

It’s simple, the same reason anyone cheats in online video games. They just don’t care. In other words 0 morality and more focused on getting what they want in the easiest way they can even if it hurts others

I actually tried doing this exact thing with other commenters who I noticed were doing the same thing- I dropped the video though when I found out I stumbled across a community infested with predators, scammers and hackers. You did an incredible job, the effort on this video was insane and your writing skills are on another level, I wish nothing but the best for your channel!

The desperation these young scammers/“content creators” have for clout is so sad. Creating content is hard, and growing is damn near impossible and only allows a small percentage of people to succeed, but at the end of the day it’s way more rewarding. Also nice juggling.

I saw a tiktok video of a 15 year old behind a ton of this. Its crazy how open he is to this.

Ok, so here is the deal with the checkmarks.. when KZread first started, the option to verify was available for a very short and limited period of time before they restricted it to creators and required the min number of subs. Case in point, me. I am one of those few accounts. I am Dan Root, an early tech adopter and investor, but I have never made any videos.. yet. I have a check. Just wanted to make that clear.. it isn’t always old creators… it can also be people that verified in this short window of time.

The quality of these videos is just really amazing

"I'm 17" made me lose confidence on myself a 21yr old guy. but regardless I'm amazed! and I hope you keep pumping this quality videos! I just first saw your channel and this definitely deserves a subscribe.

Or maybe at one point they will upload videos that bring high revenue? For an example I bet some "How to make money online easily" type of videos with affiliate links will bring some large revenue very quickly. Same with some gambling site advertisements, but those probably won't work as well for such young audiences. I have seen some people make $40-100 for each 1k views they get.
