That mustache is amazing!

Back in the early '90s were camping out in the desert at a place called Bonanza Springs. It's off Route 66, about an hour east of Amboy. We stopped in and were having lunch at Roy's Cafe when what should pull up out front but a dark green Ford Explorer, followed by a camera car full of equipment. The waiter exclaimed, "You know who that is, don't you!" It was Huell Howser. He made a bee line for our table and asked how the food was. We told him it was great and invited him and his crew to sit and visit. We told him all about Bonanza Springs and the fun we had riding our bikes all around the desert naked in the hot sun, then skinny dipping in the hot springs. It turns out he had a house in Twenty-Nine Palms, about 30 miles away, and was on his way home from a photo shoot. He was a truly wonderful guy, every bit as real and pleasant as he is on TV, and I was glad I got a chance to meet him.

He's literally so excited I love this sm (but also whenever he picks up a finished product I'm like HNNNG)

FYI to those who complained about the 'rude reporter', Huell was actually invited to do the tour by the business owner, as he had from local businesses all over the Golden State. It was a huge honor to have Huell Howser at your business.

at 23:19 did he just YANK that bread out of his hand? You can almost hear him pull it from his clutching hand. Huell is a kid in a candy store, it's awesome! you can almost see the panic in the guests eyes sometimes scared he might hurt himself or damage the products.

Dude made like 30something years of shows. I still am constantly finding episodes I have never seen... Seems when KCET was airing them they would rotate through the same ones, seems some were shown once and shelved. But love huell, you have to watch the avocado episode and the avocado eating dog. I have yet to see a boring episode including the lady that makes lint art, im like wow.

that guy looked irritated like he's saying don't touch and the workers look afraid like the boss told them to be quiet and don't screw up or else ill do the talking so when he talked to them they didn't know what to say. and the host kept getting real close and they'd back up. lol

I guess you don't know what a calorie is. A calorie is the about needed to raise a certain about of water one degree. In other words if you burn the plastic used to make the fake food it can still raise water in a breaker by one degree. #Science

That marketing manager, Ron Shohara, is a *damn handsome* man and his moustache & beard are glorious. But, gawd help me, the reporter is annoying. He kept interrupting Mr. Shohara while he was trying to explain things.

I was going to say the same thing, and feel it's his privilege to open anything he wants. Also personal space buddy! everyone was backing away from him and he just kept invading their personal space.

how sad that innocent people who don't deserve to die do so everyday when people like this guy continue to live . Just like the innocent people who are born mute or later in life lose thier ability to speak ,when this guy can speak ,it's soo sad ...I would give his voice or vocal parts to someone else in a heartbeat
