Nope. Before gas and electric, coal-burning stoves were the to-do thing, not wood.

I worked for the company that sold the telescopic ladder, we didn;t know it was fake at the time because the factory sent us fake certificates but they looked genuine

Anyone else notice the "fake" ladder used by trading standards right at the end?

Simple answer really, don't be a tight arse and buy proper stuff.

A lot of fakes are selling for similar or more than the good stuff. It's a common marketing tactic.

Hold on a minute, in the first half of the video they are explaining about the dodgy ladders, pause at 27:26 and it looks exactly identical to one of them shown.

I know it's bad what they did with the wood burner but why around 25:24 does she say " what if we had lit it and gone to bed " . Surely common sense would kick in and you wouldn't light it then go to bed lol

one thing I dont get is why there a country doesn't have a database to search for legible visas and other documents. Look up the number on the document, does it match yes/no. Wouldn't work with foreign passports, but all national documents should be doable.

The issue is the document itself - not the information it contains.

I'm a little confused about the ladder. I would have thought that the ladder not snapping under that much torque would be a good thing.

The safety rating allows for some twist, but the ladder exceeded that limit.

John Price Price I thunk the ladder needed to be stiffer. The fake one twisted quite a lot so I wouldn't be surprised if someone just slipped off tha damn thing haha
