This game is excellent.

Seems like the 150 goal for the solo is a bit too easy. All of the solos I’ve watched so far it’s been easily surpassed. Gr8 play through! Convinced me to get! It! 😁

While this looks good solo, you can definitely tell it was designed for multiplayer. I assume that instead of removing market cards when you Admin, you place the discount tokens that you mentioned?

59:25 Gardener says you can play it "adjacent to the channel". So the lake, which is also coast, is not allowed. You did play on the channel. Just adding clarification.

All those "useless" cards at the last couple of turns could have been played for money right?

I really wish Rio grande had a better graphics department. That way mechanically excellent games like this and beyond the sun would have a chance of not looking laughable at release XD

2F-Spiele put out Faiyum as have all Friedemann Friese games since forever. Also, both games aren't laughable, they focus on a clean visual layout that many (such as I) prefer over a flashy board that may sacrifice usability. A clean design should have clear readability, IMO.

@@elayeth Precisely. As someone that loves Ian O'Tooles work, I know clear readability and beautiful can be done. Faiyum is just low effort ugly.
