Faith Over fear

Ойын-сауық

This story has struck a chord in my heart as a father. Pag may nagkasakit sa pamilya natin, we pray, we ask and we even beg God to heal that person. We would do everything in our capacity to provide the best medical help possible. But the lingering question that we want an answer to is why does God allow suffering. This is the story of Tony and his journey in finding meaning in the dreadful events of his life.

In the great scheme of things, we’re just a grain of sand in a very vast beach. Yet, God knows us by name. He has even etched our name at the palm of his hand. Our God will never be happy at expense of our misery. God may even be shedding tears as we cry. While we may never understand why a loved one has to be taken away from us, always remember that our God is always good and faithful.

Watching our child hurt is one of the most trying experiences we can face as parents. It is especially heart-wrenching when we can't fix it. No matter if the hurt is physical or emotional, we feel our child's pain. Thank you Joe for another vlog. God Bless and take care 😍

So true..and so how much more our Father in heaven grieves for us His children..when in our own imperfection we already hurt so much for our children. This thought keeps me going in tough times..that one day, we grieve no more and our hurts are wiped clean from memory.

I don't know why this story reminded me of one of the letters sent to you Joe. I barely remember the whole story now but it is somewhere in my brain. I think it was sent by the sister of the letter sender who took her own life because of depression when the boyfriend died. The sister found the unsent letter addressed to you and decided to send it, or maybe I am wrong but that was the story running in my mind at the moment. I think it was a Valentine special i forgot what year, all I can remember is I was crying the whole time you were reading the letter. Oh I love Throwback Tuesday!

Kaya pala sabi ko parang pamilyar yung story... I've heard it before.. pero at the end of life maiisip po ba talaga ngbtao un ibang tao na wala ka naman talaga relationship with? I mean we get inspired by someone else pero sa fragile moments I think people long to be with people they are intimate with like family or close friends. So this story strikes me in an apathetic way, she's dying pero she's being selfish as well asking her father to do such favor [mejo off kase yun asking parents for such thing] nakakaawa yun tatay feeling all that pero un anak parang discontented and swooned like an obsessive brat. Sorry Joe I'm losing kind regards towards the letter sender's daughter. But anyway thanks for having the heart for people and relatingbto the feelings they have, not all has that, my emotions and take on this just proves that.
