Followed this video to the T. The only difference is I wanted more curls through out, so I added them all through the faux Loc before putting them in. I clipped the curl away when I came to one while wrapping) I wanted to have my hair like this when I gave birth and I was so proud of how it came out! Mine are lonnnggg I am only 5’0. Will definitely be my go to style. This was done over my locs and I only have 40. I spent less than $70 Thank youuuu for the tips!!

I did this but it took like 3 or 4 days doing 7-8 hrs a day. I was overwhelmed but the finished product was flawless. 🥰

Soooooo I came back to rewatch for the curls info before I go to the hair store. I noticed how you’re attaching the loc. Bby this is the best method for me!!! Just braid it. Frfr THANK YOU for y’all’s work 🥰🥰🥰

You made me so happy saying you are trying to buy an investment property I’m so proud of you. Think about a multi unit. You can use the same loans and programs that you would in order to buy a regular single family as long as you live in one of the units (in most states) good luck young lady

Hey babe. This looks great. Very pretty. I’ve been looking for a less expensive alternative for permanent human hair locs. A Loctitian t costs around $2000 in ATL to have locs professionally installed and buying the hair separate. I’d much rather use the technique doing it myself with what you & your friend created. This seems very beginner friendly, very affordable, can be permanent, and takes less time to install with less tension of the natural hair. Have you done a update video? How to wash, etc.

Hey boo so I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND this as a permanent solution, that troika be very damaging to your hair in the long run but you can do it for temporary installation to receive the look!

I thought of this same idea because I was going to put instant locs in my hair. But then I thought let me try something less permanent. So then I came up with the same idea as you. The only difference is I was going to do mine with short human hair and then just extend them by adding to the ends of the locs. I picked human hair over the mix was because I was afraid that the mix would tangle too easily. It would be cool if you did an update on how your hair lasted like did it tangle.

I have a question I’m Mexican(born in Guanajuato) I have insanely curly hair that tends to be all over the place, I wanted to try some locs to help it be in a protective style and to possibly help it grow, idk is it wrong for me to wear locs? I know some people on tik tok feel very very strongly about who wears locs

Oof girl that’s not for me to say… me personally if you don’t have a lil black in you, you should refrain from certain styles for purposes of appropriation & bc our styles are meant for our hair & can be damaging to other textures. So I’d say find an alternative

I use hair glue lmao, its easier and faster.
