I still prefer this over the soft locs lol soft locs look like shiny noodles to me and this gives a more realistic look

I've been wanting locs for SO LONG. And, yes I'm thinking about it. So then I won't have to be mad about the money i spent and it doesn't turn out right. I can only be mad at myself and then go to the ATM and go pay somebody...😂

While I’ve done faux Locs before, I felt my process was long for no reason and this video confirmed 😂. This was very helpful, even for someone who knows how to do it. I’m going to use your process to try and make crochet bohemian faux locs.

Question , when you are fluffing the free tress hair . You said you should have 6 pieces prefluffed of the freestress. Are you using all 6 pieces for one loc or is it like 2 -3 pieces for one loc with the wrapping of it?

I used 6 pieces total per loc. I fluffed the hair 2 at a time so it looked like 3 pieces. I hope that makes sense!

Never had braids before. If I do this is there a video on how to take it down? How to wash and dry?

Try them in a shorter length. Its the same technique and you need way less hair.
