Same as you, my Olive skinned buddy!! After much deliberation, I'm going to purchase the medium. My go-to has been Guerlain, I'll purchase for the summer. Katie Jane Hughes recently did a beautiful look with this, so that's what inspired me. She also used it on her eyes, and it was stunning. Did you buy it? If so, were you happy with the results?

I'm fair and olive toned and this is literally the only Bronzer i have found that works for me and my skin tone 😭 Anything with a red/orange undertone on my skin will look like a bruise.

Good to know. I am also fair and just found out that I am olive not cool or neutral. So, I am just finding out the right colors for me and it makes such a difference. Found it hard with bronzers so thanks for the tip!

I am fair and olive and this would look absolutely horrendous on me. I need bronzers with a rosy tone or I would look dead.

I always joke that I go slightly green when I tan because I’m so olive in undertone. Now I’m intrigued! Maybe this bronzer will be the one for me!

This is my favourite makeup product. I’m fair neutral with a slight olive undertone and this sits beautifully on me

I agree when the Charlotte brand started out it was so sophisticated and it seemed their products were too. Everything I tried, I loved and they appealed to me as a woman in her 40's......however it is so childish now I find it hard to get excited about their products and they launch things like crazy which is not how it was in the start - oh the good old days of the brand!

I will never buy these expensive products. But I love watching Wayne!😍

I have 'green' skin - I am quite light but with a very strong olive undertone and I tan a sandy shade. Many Western cosmetics (especially brands in UK and France) have always looked *extremely* pinky-peach on me, so I was very happy to see the undertone on these. I understand it must be frustrating/surprising for people used to more red-toned bronzers, however. It definitely surprised me too.

I had not realized CT had sold the brand but it explains a lot. I had noticed for some time that the products have been one-note, the shades trending more and more warm, to the point of being unwearable if you are cool-toned and/or fair skinned (I am both). The fact that the bronzers are essentially yellow and green does not surprise me.

I had noticed that there are less products for pale blue people like me which seems odd when you look at how fair Charlotte is. Her powder bronzer in fair is amazing but that was done before she sold I believe.

I actually watched the advert for the quick & easy products after watching your comments. I must say, it really reminded me of those 80's aspirational adverts I remember from my childhood. It's perhaps a little behind the times now because we're a bit more savvy when it comes to cosmetic purchases, thanks to people like you!

Now that you pointed out the resemblance to Benefit, I have to agree. Even more so to me though the labeling looks a lot like First Aid Beauty. The bronzers look so nice online, but in person, I found they were too orange to make me want them. I realize bronzer is for warming up the complexion, but I tend to enjoy ones that are closer to neutral, but not so neutral that it is a contour.

Just coming in here as an Olive skinned person (light medium skin with green undertone). I have the medium bronzer and it looks amazing on me. Most bronzer is too orange on me. I do not like the packaging though. It is loke soap and glory and not the luxe I would expect for the price.

I was laughing so hard when you were describing the quick and easy collection. Going to the gym, playing on the rug.. LOL. Love it.

You are such a delight to watch and love your honesty. Straight up just tell it like it is...I love your facial expressions because the makeup artist in you is literally trying to figure out what's wrong with the product and then you eloquently explain it. Well done, I used to love CT but so many misses lately. Ty for always delivering an honest review.

A green tinged bronzer may be useful for those of us with rosacea, as a green corrector can help neutralize red tones

Appreciate the honesty Wayne! You just saved me some money... again. I find I'm buying less and less new Charlotte Tilbury products these days. I'll repurchase items from her line I loved 3-5 years ago, over and over until they are discontinued, but nothing new lately has caught my eye, at all. It all seems a rehash of things done before or odd, trendy items that don't work as they say they will in their outlandish advertising claims. It's coming to an end with market oversaturation and too many new releases together I fear, and it makes me very sad.

I have this cream bronzer in medium and i LOVE it! No green, no yellow but a nice bronzed glow

I'm going to be honest, I'm a more muted complexion with an olive undertone... this is the first bronzer I've ever bought, and did not return bc it worked for me. For the longest time, I felt like bronzer wasn't meant for me. It melted on me. It's a shame this can't work for everyone, and it's definitely pricey too. I can definitely see this looking very, very off on certain undertones.

I think it’s great they are inclusive with olive skin tones. There are enough bronzers already for pale cool undertones like Wayne’s. It would have been even better if they advertised it as such and specified which skin tones bronzer would suit.

As a fair neutral/v slight warm undertone I have to say I really struggle to find bronzers that don't look orange, green or dirty on my skin. Drives me insane so I keep to drugstore due to about of duds about. 🤷🏼‍♀️

@@ceceliaderry2439 None of us will ever win. Maybe consider a foundation or concealer formula? Or maybe a darker face powder? You can then control the undertone to your liking, picking a formula/texture you like. Drugstore or not.

I am a light olive complexion and it works well on me. It is subtle .I don't like my bronzer to show if that makes sense. But yep. not working on Wayne

I was just about to purchase this cream bronzer in fair but after seeing this and reading the comments about how these bronzers work so well for olive undertones, I am very fair with pink undertones so I just don’t think any of these shades will work for me but happy they work for others as it’s a beautiful product.

Thanks for your honest review, I actually bought the ABH in Amber (you get a full ounce!!!) and LOVE that one. I definitely have a warm yellow undertone, so that shade works really naturally on my skin. The formula is just so beautiful and stays on all day. Someday, when I actually don’t have to budget every single penny, I dream of buying your brushes. I just cannot justify spending the money until my kids are grown and gone, but someday I will purchase a set. ☺️ They are absolutely stunning, you do such an amazing job with everything you create.

Thanks for your honest review and this is quite funny, too! Charlotte Tilbury is one of those brands that I never jive with but I decided to skip this bronzer solely because of the packaging. I didn't like that creme is housed in a gigantic flat compact with no solid protective insert. I don't mind contour products with grey undertones but not sure about "green" in either bronzer or contour cream.

I didn't know she sold the company. That explains SO much. I bought CT when the brand had just launched and they where great. Now, absolutely awful. The ads are THE worst. They seem to have strayed so far from what it used to be, they can't remember what quality is. It's sad as some products was great. Thank you for being honest as usual.

Based on your recommendation from 2-3 years ago, I use the CT Unisex Healthy Glow tinted moisturizer. I am fair, freckled, and wrinkled, and my cheeks are Irish red. I don’t use foundation, blush (😱), bronzer at all. Maybe a little concealer. But this moisturizer is AMAZING.

This might be perfect for me. I have green undertones because I'm olive, not cool or warm or neutral. I'm kind of glad that there's more variety out there for us olives. Just a shame that it doesn't seem to be advertised well.

@@bellydancefae Yeah, people misunderstand that Oliveness implies strong blue and purple contrast. People with warm undertones do not look olive because they don’t have the strong blueness.

@@di3486 no, olive undertone simply means green is present. If they have strong yellow overtones, they'll appear warm. Olive is it's own undertone and can read warm, cool, or neutral.

@@bellydancefae Olive implies deep blue/purple contrasting with a yellow tint. If the warm-ness overpowers, then does not look green anymore.

The bronzer colors are coming across a bit wonky. When you did the close-up the darker bronzer has a weird tint to it like a khaki green. The fair looks yellow to me. Thank you for the honest reviews. 🌟💖🙏

I have the deepest one because I assumed it would be the right one. It instead looks somewhat cool on me and like a contour. I noticed a lot of deep skinned people having to get the tan one which never happens. It's not really giving my skin any warmth.The powder bronzer from Charlotte looks better on me. I watched fair people review and thought it looked a little odd. Lesson learned about wanting every new thing.

I appreciate your honest reviews, they are refreshing. I love Charlotte Tilbury products, I bought those sticks in the cigarette box-shaped holder, and loved them. I also bought the cream bronzer, medium shade, and on my medium/tan skin tone with a neutral/olive undertone it looks amazing, so natural and subtle. But you have a cool undertone and yes, maybe it looks yellow/green on you. I love Rare Beauty products too, and I recently bought a bronzer stick, I used it twice but, it looks AWFUL on me, like yellow/orange, yet it looks great on other people. It is a matter of undertones I guess.

Not sure why this has only just come up in my feed! Anyway, I know how much you love CT generally. So this is a breath of fresh air and only continues to show your pure honesty and couldn’t give a toss attitude! Absolutely love it!! I tried it thinking it would be beautiful. At first I thought it was a powder, then when applied I it I was completely confused. The cream in light and medium doesn’t look even remotely like her powder colour! Pmsl love your “going to the gym” etc! You absolutely crack me up! Yes, it’s not just you with the green! I was expecting warmth and at the least neutral. But each person I’ve tried it on it is green! (Or a tad grey) Warm, neutral or cool under tones! Definitely not for me!

I completely agree. I got medium for my medium to tan skin tone. Something was off with the color. I had to return and went with Nars cream bronzer in Laguna 3. I’m much happier with that !

I was pleasantly surprised by the new make up kits and nice that you can swap out the colors in the case. I have two and use both. And the original Filmstar Bronze and Glow is great. But agree that in general the brand has been cheapened and so many of the products are lacking in quality now. And so much orange and copper as everyone knows and laments.

I can see those yellow undertones working well for ppl with fair olive toned skin, but I'm a cool toned fair skinned gal with pink undertones so I really need an option that's got more pink or even red in it. Sometimes I will get the shade thats meant for dark skin with more red undertone and I'll just sheer it out. I'd rather look a lil sunburnt than jaundiced lol

I got mine in fair yesterday (I’m a MAC NW10) and it’s the perfect shade for me! I’m so used to bronzers either looking too orange or too yellow on my skin (I don’t mind a red undertone). But I can see on you, it’s a little green/yellow undertone.

I have the fair shade and really like it! Works like a contour on me, but I am very fair and really don’t like to bronze since I don’t tan, only burn!
