Faerietale of Newark Part 1 | Barbel Fishing The Might River Trent

Part 1 of our latest helping of Angling 360 takes us to the River Trent just outside Newark, where we aim to do what we failed to on our previous trip almost 12 months ago; catch a Barbel. However, it soon becomes evident that this trip might be a tad tricky, with forecasted high winds and a relatively low and clear river.
Nevertheless, we didn't travel 300 miles to be beaten by a bit of a breeze.
Day one sees us arrive early after travelling through the night, and we're as determined as ever.
Surely this time.

Loving this both as always few fish caught in bad conditions the wye and the seven are good for barbel if you ever get down that way 🎣👊💯
That was a hard shift lads but informative about how to go about fishing for Barbel.
Lol big gordon he is so compatision he minds me of me with my sea fishing out with the club lol with alexs just like going out fishing just catching a fih lol.
