Need to investigate the manufacturers. In the west, same plates last 15 to 20 years even with harsh weather, cleaning etc. this is corruption in India causing sub standard plates

But i think that this is a way govt is trying to make money, i had same problem, tell me something why will i clear coat an HSRP when we are already paying so high for same. A local number plate of 100 bucks stays as it is in this scorching heat of 52⁰ C and also can withdrand high pressure wash. Then why will i spend 1000 bucks on HSRP...

Sir Meri Ambassador par 2002 me maine aluminium embossed no. Plate lagayi thi , wo aaj bhi bohut acchi condition me hai or us ke baad HSRP lagayi ek rectangular or ek long order kari but dono hi long aa gyi. Pata nahi koi kaisi bhi sunwai nahi 😐. By the way back ground music name kya hai ?

Yeah the same thing was happen with us traffic police fined on our car because it has old number plate (and not faded too) And the cameraman traffic police is headache for us😅

Quality is definitely not upto standard. Many people have been using HSRP in Delhi over a decade, long before it was made mandatory and i noticed that many hsrp were fading. While in UP it was launched only after it was made mandatory in 2019 and for first few years they were good quality i didn’t see any fading but now the manufacturers of UP have also got the gist of downgrading quality so fading hsrp have started to appear.

No you don't have to replace your plate..... you can re-coat it in some stores..or there is also black number sticker available to stick over it...trust me i have done it allready

Plates ko 1 saal mein kaise damage ho raha hai. My car had it undamaged for 10 years (before I sold it). It has perfect lettering. Most plates that i have seen have mishandling damages as their plates show scratches. Some have it like they have picked up a stone and scraped the paint off.
