What a unique cool little fish. I feel bad for the little guy, because he doesn’t have any swim bladder, and because he lacks a larval stage to disperse him further from the area. I hope they can find a way to save the species from starfish predation & extinction. Great vid. Thanks !!

This is a beautiful fish I have never even heard about this fish. Looks very similar to a batfish. I hope is gets protected!
What beautiful, unusual fish! Are they related to hawkfish in some way, or are their similar characteristics, like lack of a swim bladder and balancing on pectoral fins an example of convergent evolution?
