    The most surprising thing I find is that a 747 and this guy have similar weight. Suprised more so that we were flying something that heavy 50 years ago when things were mostly engineered with a slide rule

    even the SR-71Blackbird was designed with a slide-rule they made it so good that if it where never made before and we made one with today's computers it would be almost the same.

    The L2350 is an awesome machine. No doubt, but the record of CAT in the mining ops around the world speaks for itself. How big is too big? Well, if time and money are factured in, it is obvious that the L2350 might just be the right machine for your mining op. It is quite a capable machine, but one must weigh down time for servicing this mega machine vs the overall operating cost. Nothing new here. Mining ops do this stuff 24/7 and they know the drill. The mining expo, by the way, is very cool. I plan on attending the 2016 expo. You really must go if you are into these massive machines. Personally, I like the CAT992 the most because it has a lengthy track record in mining ops. Field servicing is excellent in most cases and the 992 is very nimble and quite flexibility around the mining facility. Once saw a 992 with a dozer blade. Very cool. Excellent video, but question the weight of the L2350 being at or near that of a 747. I thought it weighed more than a 737. Am I wrong?🔧

  • @frankcrawford416

    @frankcrawford416

    5 жыл бұрын

    It does not weigh near a 747. I believe a 747 should weigh near a million pounds fully loaded and fueled. The most powerful machine made by man is the Saturn 5 rocket. Weighed 3,500 tons and 7 1/2 million pounds thrust. That is equivalent of 160 million horsepower!

    WERKS Parts LLC This loader as well as the smaller L1850 which is actually bigger than a 994 are great machines. The L 1850 uses the same 16V4000 engine as the L 2350. Just a little less hp. The L 1850 replaced the 994’s at Cortez Gold in Nevada.

    That thing is so massive it should have it's own gravity pull ...Man that bucket can take a small house in it with it's foundations . It has an oil tank the capacity in weight of an average car ...Holly crap , can you imagine that thing for some reason going downhill and the operator has a heart attack or something and his foot remain the throttle ? Highly unlikely to happen i know but if that happened what could stop this monster from destroying everything in it's path !

    I’m extremely curious to know how many Ford F-150 pick ups it would take to beat this in a tug of war 🧐

    Boy that is for sure because this hunt has not been easy but I think I may have found a A few different choicesbut of course since it is a toy no matter which when I get it's going to have a massive handle to lift it up and down since you can't get inside to operate it in my hunt though I found something that looks very similar to theKomatsu375it waslarger than my huge 1/16 scale D11 Tbut the only problem with it was the blade was not correctly sizedit was a bit smaller than it was supposed to behowever if the blade was correct I would've gotten that because that bulldozer would've been an excellent addition to my mining class

    Very impressive machine how much $ ? only thing I see is with the rather large tires all that smooth area seems like it would reduce the traction of the tire. I would assume you would need all the traction you could get by useing the entire surface area of the tire ? but what a monster !

    Not even close. This P&H bucket is literally twice as large (35yards vs. 70 yards, it produces almost twice as much HP (1200 vs. 2300), and weighs almost 100 tons more (175 vs. 260).
