Factor Polynomial: Difference of Squares

I work through 4 problems to show how to factor a difference of squares. Then I work through 2 more to show that factoring a difference of terms raised to the fourth power may require an additional step of factoring. Factoring a difference of squares allows me to finish describing the "Rules for Factoring," that I have been developing through the previous several videos. The Rules provides a student with some guidance on how to approach the wide variety of factoring problems encountered.

You are hands down the best math teacher on you tube..You have an enormous pacience and clarity in explaining everything, and you always offer multiple examples for every expressions..If a man like me of 61 years of age (with a low I.Q.) manages to grasp these difficult subjects, in a language which isn't mine (i'm Italian) it really means you're doing an eccellent job, and i felt compelled to let you know it and congratulate you. And please sir keep up the good invaluable work you're conducting..It means a lot to me...Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I find that if everything was zero, it would solve most of my problems. 🤤

Lisa Roney, there is probably profound truth in that. I'll need to reflect.
