Your saying to "hook me up" to that stone-fish's drip reminds me of how we're joking around about her being a junkie now (she's been about as straight-edge as a christian woman can be for the vast majority of her life). Subnautica did horrify me as well, but only at the start. Remember trying to cross the ocean to the island for food and my glider ran out of battery, and all I could feel was a sense of dread because it wad only darkness below me. Hi Alicia, on the off chance this reaches you: I hope it's not inappropriate to suggest 40K content on a non 40K video, but... Do you remember the part of the Bricky video where he talked about Angron and the World Eaters (the angry guys) and chat said they were "sad bois"? Well, there's a chanel called "A Vox in the Void" (vox is 40K talk for radio) that makes excellent audio dramas. But more specifically, if you want to know about the sad bois listen to his videos titled "Abuse" and "Cry Havoc" (in that order). I can't recomend this enough. The way he speaks makes you FEEL the passion of the characters. Best regards.

13:33 There does exist painkillers based on Cone Snail venom. it's released intravenously and is ONLY used for *the - most - extreme* chronic pain conditions. It's called Ziconotide and is sold under the name Prialt. One of the few actual cases of patients using Prialt that I've seen was a guy who was in so much nerve pain that his feet started twisting in the wrong directions from pure muscle tension. The device to release the painkiller had to be implanted in his body so he could receive a near constant intravenous supply. It's the kind of drug they only give to people who will literally go into shock and die *if they don't.* It's not a _painkiller_ so much as an "oh-shit" Plan D.

One note about the whole whales vibrating people to death thing: Whales are aware they can do this and intentionally lower their volume near people in the water, it has been recorded. It doesn't make it 100% safe, but its a LOT less dangerous than it seems at first look.

Please consider checking out Tierzoo sometime if you can! The idea of it basically is that the guy pretends that every animal is a different build that players have come up with in an MMO called "Outside" and he talks about and ranks the viability of different animals, either doing groups of them (so like big cats ranked in their different tiers, for example), or doing a deep dive on a particular animal or stat. (So you might get something like "Are elephants OP" or "Why intelligence is the most important stat in the game"). I think it's something you can appreciate for both learning things about animals and treating it like a game.
