So much vitriol when it comes to Robert Mugabe, it would be very useful to offer some proof or context to statements, of all the things that crippled Zimbabwe which of his actions brought this about in comparison to the actions of Britain and the US? Just a question!

@Patience Crawley i am a Zimbabwean but i love Mugabe for what he did for our country and other African countries.i am not happy about the situation in Zimbabwe right now but be assured that its NOT Mugabe that caused it! Things are bad in Zimbabwe because of the sanctions put on Mugabe and the country by whites after realising that he had out thought and out faught them and won! The West hates this man and they will do anything to get what Africa has and they made Zimbabweans hate Mugabe through propaganda.Africans should unite against white rule , research and learn about our political history.Mugabe was the greatest leader Africa has ever seen, a true son of the soil and may his soul rest in Power!

Grace Mugabe may not be liked by many, but the Ex First Lady from Zimbabwe will be remembered for a "Blessing in Disguise" by many Zimbabweans, due to her "Attitude / Behaviour in public and international" that contributed immensely towards the speedy process of the Removal / Downfall of Ex President Robert Mugabe from power after 37 years. The Zimbabwean nationals have entered the last "Kicks of a dying horse" and the road ahead won't be that easy. God Bless Zimbabwe.

"If you look at Mugabe's entire political career, what is always missing is the essence of the person. He is a shrewd politician, a great survivor, but very very ruthless. There is nothing to commend him except his eloquency with words. He is mean-spirited even towards his own people. He is not moved by the plight of Zimbabweans, by people suffering and dying. He's immune to such calls on his feelings; he doesn't respond to pity." - Jonathan Moyo

When Claire Short the Labour Foreign Minister reneged on the Lancaster House agreement, Mugabe then went for the Land reclaim from White Settlers/Colonialists. This lead Britain to impose sanctions on Zimbabwe and to have the Western White World to follow suit. This is what has lead Zimbabwe to the economic state it is in now.
