Tried to contact FB for a month, no one EVER get back to me. Contacted the Bank, they refunded with the full amount, yet the account is still disabled even Facebook sent me an email said they confirmed my account was hacked and refunded the total amount of the unrecognized payment.

Thank you for this. After hours of research and trying to resolve this with Facebook multiple way and getting no where this was really helpful. It actually gave me some hope. I've followed these steps and awaiting to hear back.

Thanks for the video! Did you (or anyone who's tried this) get any kind of confirmation that the request was actually submitted? After hitting send, it took me to a generic facebook help page without any confirmation message (and when accidentally remaining logged in, it didn't submit and said my account was unavailable). Thanks for this, a relative had their account hacked then banned. Then upon requesting a recovery via government ID, subsequently disabled the account for child sexualization. Facebook is so garbage its unbelievable. No way to speak to an actual person. Its not even the account that is the problem, its losing all the family photos etc. If I could download all of those I don't care if the account did die. Not sure if issuing a GDPR subject access request will provide photos or not.

The "contact" link doesn't work. Instead of sending the message, it just pops a red window saying that due to COVID-19 (still?), they can't review the situation because they lack the staff.

when i click the Send button in the facebook privacy policy page nothing happens. Did the page refresh when you hit the SEND button? Did you get a confirmation email right away after you pressed the SEND button?

Yes I got handed and disabled for breaking community guidelines. I simply said in my first email that I require human help to get access to my data. I also gave the email address of my disabled account. Each time they replied I kept saying I want human help to access my data. After 2 or 3 replies they asked for my phone number and a few hours later I was back online. This was the second or third time I tried this method though. This one was really in hope I didn’t expect to get anywhere

So I followed exactly what you did but it doesn’t take you to the same location anymore. It just takes you to another page of articles to “ help” I can’t seem to get through to them. Do you have any updates on this ? So frustrating

I believe it was the privacy. At least this was faster, if you own an occulus quest (or get one online for a brief time) they might help you as well. Yes luckily after following Johns instructions after almost two weeks I got a human response asking me to supply a completely new email. I then went on two days later and finally I could access my account I just had to review the recent activity. Lost $150 from my credit card and countless hours researching and sending in request, emails etc. But so grateful! Don’t loose hope!

I was able to submit the selfie video verification but every time , I got messages from META saying they couldn't confirm my identity but when I reach out to Brandon of *Future imperative corps* , he was able to bypass the verification selfie video I was stuck at and *future imperative corps* granted me access into my account by kicking off the ass on my account.

Once I go through the privacy steps to talk to someone and get more information, send my email etc. Then what happens from there? I'm stuck at the Selfie Video Identification step. I got the 2 OTPs, and when the video step is supposed to come up, it just gets stuck at loading. I just tried this now as well. My account got hacked yesterday and all I can see is that it is disabled and can not be reviewed due to violation policy. I think this is weird when I have 2-factor authentication, but must have been cookies. So my account has been hacked and then disabled right away. I can see tho, that the phone number and password is the same. I hope this will help. I just got the response and have replied (in different language) according to your email :) It just seems weird if I can't get the account back when I have phone+email confirmed in the account. I am looking forward if this will help :)

I hope they will respond back. Otherwise I will go through an data protection organisation which represents meta. Because I still have the same mail, phone and password linked to my fb account. So I have all the proof I need. The only thing which was changed was my name on facebook.

So, I uploaded my drivers licence, and now after a couple of days I got a mail back with a link I was supposed to press... that just forwarded me to the page telling me that I have disputed their decision to turn off my account... Trying in incognito mode forwards me to a page where it sais that the link for regaining my account is wrong. Another version was that I had turned on 2-step verification and needed to use the code generator or a 2d party app, that I do not think I hace connected to my account. It was just round and round. Help and Hacked links. SMS otp came through but I can't enter. So I have to use a different laptop to try. Skip the mobile. Advice from Facebook Singapore office. I am still logged out now. Just use John's template to reply them

Personally i have a quest and meta literally sent me an email saying to contact meta if my fb account was like disbaled by accident so i did. Then the meta support people were just an endless loop of " sorry we dont deal with this type of request. We only deal with meta quest support not facebook accounts." :(

Yeah! Their response was in short my Account was banned and they cant help with login questions etc, provided useless links, explained where i can download my private files, and so on. I then more or less repeated with my 2nd mail, "links dont work, i was hacked around ..., i request individual review since the automatic takes too much time, i dont wanna lose the account and so on. It took 1 week for their next reply, which unbanned me :)

The same situation I got my self into, I almost lost everything, that's when I remember that my friend's mom was able to recoup hers through a firm, so l decided to ask her for the information to be able to communicate with them and divinely they recouped my account. That's their gm'ail address in my name, send them a message for assistance. Do not listen to this bots for your safety. Please be careful.

It's really hard to understand why instagram is refusing to set up a committee that can review accounts faster , it is very frustrating especially for those of us that make a living online, thanks for recovering my account without any loss of data cyberlogics_ you remain the most genuine and reliable so far

I just heard back from someone at Facebook after sending my email from a different account and all they did was say I needed to file a report from my linked email and the link they gave me only leads back to the help center which is a dead end. Any advise on this?

I was able to submit the selfie video verification but every time , I got messages from META saying they couldn't confirm my identity but when I reach out to Brandon of *Future imperative corps* , he was able to bypass the verification selfie video I was stuck at and *future imperative corps* granted me access into my account by kicking off the ass on my account.

Just happened to me. Hacked, child porn posted, account disabled. Have appealed but it won't work as my FB account is super old and in my maiden/professional name. My passport and driving licence are in my married name. I've followed the link and your advice but the 'send' button seems not to be clicking through anywhere so I can't tell if the form is submitted. Was it like that for you?

I have another problem, in that my public/work identity is my maiden name but my passport is in my married name. Guess that rates as a breach of guidelines too😂 Anyway, the privacy bots answered this morning with a bunch of hopeless links. So I have just sent them your second email adapted to my circs🤞🤞🤞

I'm having the same problem, but when I filled out the form it won't let me send. I keep pressing "send" and nothing happens. I swear, every single thing I try doesn't work. My account has been suspended for 3 days and it is harming my online business and animal rescue pages. I am so devastated and frustrated.

@@JohnTrasher actually it did work. The problem was that I was still logged into my old account where the suspension message was. When I logged out of that, I was able to hit send. I did get a reply several hours later through an e-mail not connected to facebook at all, and I was able to tell them the situation. I am now waiting on another reply. Hopefully it will have the same outcome you did. Thank you for your video, this is by far the best one I've come across.

@@JohnTrasher I re-read what you wrote to them and tried to make my reply similar, as I did get that "we can't help you" message this morning. I didn't copy your message, I only made it similar and added that it is unfair for hackers to be allowed to get away with these actions and forcing those of us with the account for years, to feel guilty and have no recourse to defend themselves and that I would appreciate human assistance as soon as possible because my online business and animal rescue pages are suffering. I cannot access any of that and all my customers are in my business group and I also run a home-based feral and stray cat rescue which relies heavily on my 2 facebook pages about the cats. Without the support of those people through food and monetary donations, my cats suffer. I did not tell them all of that, but just giving you a bit of background on why this is so critical. I'm keeping fingers crossed that your method will work. :) I'll keep you posted! By the way - I have relatives in Germany. My parents both grew up there. Bielefeld (not sure if the spelling is correct), and Frankfurt. I visited there when I was 10 years old (I'm in my 50's now LOL), but I remember how beautiful it was and I thoroughly enjoyed our vacation there.

@@JohnTrasher they have given me 3 replies so far, all of them appear to be automated so I am getting a little more intense with my responses but keeping it polite and firm at the same time. Gosh, they treat you like a criminal - guilty until proven innocent but they don't allow you to prove your innocence without going through a ton of red tape first. We need to change this and advocate for others in the same situation. Still keeping my fingers crossed that eventually I will reach a human!

Thank you soooo much for this video. A hacker got into my account through my email, which I also had to recover, they disabled my personal FB, IG & business IG where I was making thousands of dollars!! I pray this works. It’s not fair that Facebook can see it’s obvious you’ve been hacked and just disables your account without warning!! I will be back with an update to let you know if it worked for me. I’ve just sent my request and am waiting for a response
