I’ve tried the support request w/ the video selfie about 7 times now. But It wasn’t letting me open a support request on my main account that was hacked so I used the support request thing in my second account, and in the text box they provided, I added that I was inquiring about a different account. Now they sending me the same email saying “We weren’t able to confirm identity from the video you submitted. You can submit a new video and we’ll review it again”… but like I’ve already sent 7 videos!, how am I supposed to confirm my identity, and also, there’s literally 3 pics of my face on that insta, how do I resolve this, insta just kept replying with the same thing, What a life saver *Future Imperative Corps* is.This really does work I got my account back after it was hacked and I never thought I'd see it again.

Same thing happened to me. I am trying to keep the account locked out at this point so they cant use it either..But I am pissed. I have lost half of my business contacts because of it. Everything you try just takes you in cirecles, I have even uploaded my ID to get it back, nothing. I ended up making a T-shirt to say FU to my hackersto sell on my website. Facebook doesnt care they are making money.

I’m glad to be fortunate enough to get to know their name and looked it up online.

My wife got hacked and they changed both emails so there’s no way to log in/get a code/anything. Nothing has worked. So I guess they just simply own her photos and personal information now. I’m deleting Facebook immediately and encouraging others to do the same

In May 28 my account got hacked and they changed all my account details. This got me super frustrated because my account is my only means to communicate with my online school course instructor. Why a company made $22 Billions dollar of profit in 2022 can't afford to have better customer service? I don't understand it. Can someone explain where they spend the money? It's not right to undermine your customers this way, especially we used Facebook and IG to share with friends and family. A lot of sentimental value in our account. 😢

My original fb account got hacked last year, fb employees ask me for my personal info I told them I'm not going to give my personal info to fb (meaning ID, SS# ETC) to get my fb account back that is personal, you don't give out your personal info to NO one. Then I search elsewhere, and they were charging me close to $100 to get it back. There must be away I can get my old account back without having to pay to get it.

Because it's Facebook itself letting hackers make more money for them
