Facades of the Sagrada Familia

The Sagrada Familia is expected to be finished in 2026. In November 2013, we take a look at the state of the three facades - the Glory, Passion and Navivity Facades, which represent the Resurrection, Crucifiction and Birth of Christ respectively.

    Excellent and informative Simon. Love Guadi's stuff. Didn't he make it into the Guiness book of records as the first ever tram victim too? Do you think they will include a passing reference to that anywhere on one of the facades?

    Gaudi did have plans for how the Passion facade would look, unfortunately they were destroyed in a fire by anarchists. That is why someone else had to take the job, not to ape the style directly, but to try and add to it while respecting Gaudi's vision, which could only be assumed.
