    I find it interesting that the FAA would spend so much energy writing regulations for aircraft that don't technically exist yet in the market, but have been dragging their heels on the 100LL situation for nearly a quarter of a century (the time it took to go from the Wright Brothers to the Spirit of St. Louis).

    Exactly. And the same part of the FAA hasn't come up with commercial ratings for weight shift control trikes or powered parachutes which have been legal for nearly as long. Strange priorities.
