Idk why when 9Ms come off the rail for a second they turn away from the target and then back towards it, its really annoying when you're trying to get close range shots in

It just hasn’t overcome inertia yet, it is not flying away it’s just traveling in the direction it was first launched in for the first second

That's why you lock, lead, then fire. It's a missile, not a bullet. It has it's own inertia it has to overcome to steer once it's released from the bird.

Depends, both planes turn well at 450 mph while the f16 can turn while at 500 mph and the f15 would lag behind but extending and doing a loop then firing a 9m it would probably win cause 9ms are irccm and nearly impossible to dodge

@@thomasvennekens4137 F-15 and F-16s are 4th gen fighters not 5th gen. 5th gen fighters are jets like the F-22, F-35, SU-57 etc.

​@@dagthang541it really depends on the plane, in this instance with the f-15 that plane is a semi-delta wing and when in a horizontal turn like that it's actually best to remain after burning as to have enough compression for your engines and elevators. A necessary time to cut afterburner with the f-15 would be in a dive, even with airbrake, takeoff flaps and 0 throttle. This way, an f-15 can pull an almost instantaneous turn due how physics work. But if you're trying to point out anyone's mistakes in this particular dogfight, neither party really made any

@@Voron112 ты о чём. Ф15 даже не рядом с ф16, это корова тупо которая вообще ни разу не сбила меня в сб с обновы этой. Су 27 то же самое, корова. 1 на 1 даже фул загруженный ф16 перекрутит. А средние дистанции и дальние все равно за ф16. Но из этих двух самолетов су 27 сильнее ф15 ибо второй вообще говно

⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠@@whoresuvtripoli don’t need to leak some documents about it. falcon is shorter and lighter in general. also there is a wingspan difference between eagle and falcon. eagle’s wider wings causes more air friction under the wings. eagle basicly needs more space in the air. sure it can climb better and go faster than falcon, but falcon wins the turn fight. you can understand it by only looking at their silhouettes and comparing each other.

Для отличной маневрености нужно три основных составляющих: малая удельная нагрузка на крыло, большая тяговооружённость и центровка на грани продольной неустойчивости. У ф15 тяговооружённость выше, а удельная нагрузка на крыло ниже, чем у ф16с. Единственное где сокол лучше это в продольной неустойчивости. В целом ф15 маневренее на средних - высоких скоростях, на низких ф16 лучше за счёт центровки, крыльевых наплывов и отклоняемых носков. В видео пилот на ф15 слил всю скорость из-за чего начал терять преимущество в два круга.

​@@sdmobiwan F-15 can use differential thrust in real life, giving if far greater maneuverability than you would expect for its size. It actually doesn't need much room at all and could easily maneuver in ways the F-16 cannot. The F-15 also has a better power to weight ration in its thrust which also creates a bit of a problem over the F-16. While its true the F-16 can relatively easily turn inside an F-15, if the F-15 pilot was competent it would never come to that because the pilot would know that information as well and would utilize his own strengths over the F-16. There is a reason that the F-16 is on the verge of being replaced by the F-35 while the F-15 is continuously being improved upon, upgraded and still being produced and has heavy use by the U.S. with 218 currently in service to only 30 F-16s. You're also false on the F-15's wing design which is also one of its strengths as the F-15 actually has very low wing-loading for its size, its wings are virtually no issue at all in its flight performance.
