But Max is the best at feeling a car his driving style changes as a car changes and I think RB is the only car with high rake because it makes the car harder to handle, so double fail for Lewis.

Delish Dida : I doubt it. This track is extremely difficult to overtake on. Once he passed the first 3 or 4 cars he'll get stuck. He might be able to win a few more places, but it'll be a great drive if he manages to finish in the points.

....No Bottas' sprint qualifying position doesn't matter since he is going to start P20 anyways. Mercedes were hoping for 2 things, Lewis on Pole, Max far behind. Neither of those two things happened. So the commentator does mean that its not gone well so far for mercedes.

@@mr.3pac898 This year he is being consistent, but he is on the third slowest car on the grid by a big marge, it's very hard to do points on these conditions. On the past inconsistency and crashes were common by this year he is doing a great season.

Love the sprint races. They should do half the race weekends like this. It makes for some very interesting and exiting Sunday results.

Valtteri won the srpint does not bring any benefit to the team cause he will start from the back whatsoever... He should take Verstappen out in the sprint so both of them could start from the back on Sunday...That scenerio defenitely would bring more joy to the Mercedes garage...

With respect to Perez, I would be interested to see Verstappen and Bottas as a team for Red Bull. I know Bottas is signed to Alfa Romero, but I think Red Bull would give him the car and the freedom to become the driver he should be. Max doesn't strike me as someone who NEEDS to win the way Hamilton does, and I think they would probably end up sharing GP wins with Hamilton consistently placing third or only occasionally second/first. That practice at Monza just got me thinking, but I dunno, maybe I'm just talking waffle.

And you're right about Max, he still has a lot to prove and he needs as many first place GP wins as he can get when he's facing a bona fide champion like Hamilton.

Even the best cracks under pressure but at the same time, Max did a fantastic job this season. He handles pressure like it's absolutely nothing and his performance in Zandvoort shows.

I think this and the Italian Grand Prix was the best ever race I have ever seen live.

“I wonder what drivers must be feeling?” In Lando’s post race interview, he talked about how he spent the whole sprint race sliding around the track which is impossible to do on the longer distances. It sounds like it’s a lot of fun for the drivers to not have to worry about conserving anything and to just go 110% on the track to try to win.

Although he had poor start, he made up for it. It reminded me of Alonso at Silverstone sprint. Unfortunately you just can't underestimate what Japanesse torpedo can do to you.
