how do I slow the wear and tear on my ERS 10 races left in the season and both units are at 45% alos the gearbox and engine too if you have any tips

Use the old ones in practice, and the new ones in quali and the races, you can also tell your drivers to avoid kerbs and drive in clean air to reduce wear, but only do that in practice as it costs you time

How doe the "top up" function differ from harvest??

Your driver will harvest 2MJ and deploy 1.8MJ, charging the battery by 0.2MJ per lap

What are your thoughts on the ERS battle assist? Is it helpful or is it better sticking with the ERS options? Also is it only for close battles or cstching cars a second or 2 up the road?

I’ve found the pushing hard on tyres and using avoid kerbs stops them getting hot so you can use that the same as standard and use kerbs for the same or less wear rate on tyres seems to help overtaking when you have less powerful cars too

please, I just want to ask you, do you use dlss, if so, what do you have set, whether auto balance or quality, if not, what do you have instead, because I have FPS 60 on my PC, but I still see slight tearing of the image

Yeah I think the same thing I can’t seem to gain as much performance because the ai bring upgrades in so fast.

I’m doing mclaren 10 races in and I’m struggling massively with the cost cap are you I’ve only got 45 mill left to spend, also even though I feel like I’ve brought a decent amount of upgrades I’m still so slow I also don’t know when to switch focus on research for next year

Yeah, I'm trying to do Alfa Romeo. I have brought so many upgrades but I am still comfortably the slowest. The board expect me to finish 7th in the constructors with the worst car. I have yet to score a point and there is only a few races left. The board have 0 confidence in me and are going to fire me. If I had board confidence I would just switch to next year but I have to keep bringing upgrades to try and get results. It is really frustrating because I feel like I am doing everything right but I can't move up the field and the board are just itching to fire me because I can't get 7th in the constructors with shitty staff, shitty facilities, and the worst car on the grid. I like how the AI bring upgrades because last year if you made it to the top, they couldn't catch you and you became dominant which isn't fun. But I am just not making progress and the board want to fire me which is annoying because I want a long term rebuild which is why I chose Alfa Romeo.

Yeah it's so much better. I'm at my third season with Williams and starting to fight for points. Isn't it more fun that way ?

seems to have set it up, need to set the DLSS quality, now I feel like it's running smoothly
