I think they need to turn up the sound on the crackles and bangs under breaking and downshifts, make them a lot louder and more prominent. But I agree it sounds SO MUCH better than last year and to be honest I think they’ve captured the onboard sound pretty well

They sound awesome! In general it seems like they tweaked the 2019 engine sounds a bit, however if you notice it sounds like they added the mic effect where you can hear more of the outside sounds of the car. And thus you get those extra growls. Codies, you have definitely outdone yourself! I'm excited to get this game!

The sounds are so much better. Codies probably studied the F1 TV pro recordings, which had a much cleaner stereo sound in the second half of the last season.

I really hope that the Honda engine will get better in the full released game

they are doing a good job with getting the engine sounds a lot closer to reality. A lot better than 2019, really impressed with this.

They just need to increase the shifts sound and just the engine at slower speed.

I believe it was more prominent on F1 2018 though. I don't know why that's the case (probably my imagination). But it is in fact more recognizable on this game when compared to its predecessor which is F1 2019.

search for "RSS Formula Hybrid 2021" and check out what a some modders manage to produce for the Honda Engine.

The sounds are so realistic

I love how ferrari engine is clean and unique

The sounds are still quite muffled. I hope they open them up a bit, that honda engine has very little grawl (but it's there so there's that). Also bring a bit of gearbox noises, that renault has a huge amount of gearbox noises so it wouldn't hurt to put that high pitch noise there
